GForce Gatlander 12GA Tungsten Overview
The GForce Gatlander is a lever-action 12 gauge shotgun that blends classic lever-gun handling with modern shotgun power. It is a fun, distinctive option for home defense, ranch use, or recreational shooting.
Design and Features
The 18.5-inch barrel keeps it handy, and the finish and capacity are as listed in the title.
Handling in the Field
GForce shotguns are known for delivering a lot of features for the money. This model balances well, mounts quickly, and is easy to keep running with basic cleaning and lubrication.
Action and Trigger
Work the lever fully through its stroke for each shot, and keep your hand clear of the action while cycling.
Sights and Optics
Use the front bead or fiber optic sight on the rib, and pattern your loads with each choke before hunting or defense use.
The 12 Gauge Cartridge
The 12 Gauge is the most versatile shotgun chambering, with loads for everything from clays and birds to buckshot and slugs.
Setup and Accessories
Set your shotgun up for its job: hunters will want a sling and a few choke tubes, clay shooters may add a recoil pad, and a home-defense setup benefits from a weapon light. Pattern every load and choke combination you plan to use.
Ownership Tips
Read the owner’s manual fully before your first range trip, and keep the manual, box, and receipt with your records for warranty service and resale. Unload the shotgun and confirm it is empty before cleaning. Field-strip it according to the owner’s manual, scrub the bore with a brush and patches, and wipe carbon from the action and choke threads. Apply a light coat of quality gun oil to the contact points, and wipe the exterior with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.
