Description
The GForce GF3PD 12GA is a shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a 18.5-inch barrel. This model has a nickel finish. GForce Arms backs its firearms with a lifetime warranty, and the company focuses on practical, affordable guns for hunting, home defense, and recreational shooting.
GForce GF3PD 12GA Overview
This GForce Arms pump-action shotgun is a straightforward, dependable 12 or 20 gauge for home defense, the range, or the field. Pump actions are simple to operate and cycle a wide range of loads without depending on recoil or gas.
Design and Features
It accepts 2-3/4 and 3-inch shells, and depending on configuration it may include a pistol grip, rail, or wood furniture as described in the title. Sling swivels make it easy to carry.
Handling in the Field
GForce shotguns are known for delivering a lot of features for the money. This model balances well, mounts quickly, and is easy to keep running with basic cleaning and lubrication.
Action and Trigger
Rack the forend fully back and forward for every shot, and keep your finger off the trigger until you are on target.
Sights and Optics
Use the front bead or fiber optic sight on the rib, and pattern your loads with each choke before hunting or defense use.
The 12 Gauge Cartridge
The 12 Gauge is the most versatile shotgun chambering, with loads for everything from clays and birds to buckshot and slugs.
Setup and Accessories
Set your shotgun up for its job: hunters will want a sling and a few choke tubes, clay shooters may add a recoil pad, and a home-defense setup benefits from a weapon light. Pattern every load and choke combination you plan to use.
Ownership Tips
Read the owner’s manual fully before your first range trip, and keep the manual, box, and receipt with your records for warranty service and resale. Unload the shotgun and confirm it is empty before cleaning. Field-strip it according to the owner’s manual, scrub the bore with a brush and patches, and wipe carbon from the action and choke threads. Apply a light coat of quality gun oil to the contact points, and wipe the exterior with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.
