Description
The Fusion Firearms XF PRO Chrome Threaded is an all-metal, striker-fired 9mm built by Fusion Firearms in Venice, Florida. This version pairs a chrome slide with a black frame, a threaded 4.25-inch barrel and two 10-round magazines that follow the Glock pattern. Note: the gallery photos from Fusion show the standard unthreaded XF PRO Chrome; the main image shows this threaded model.

Fusion Firearms XF PRO Chrome Threaded Overview
Most striker pistols use polymer frames. Fusion took a different route with the XF PRO, machining the slide, frame and major parts from bar stock and giving the pistol an aluminum frame with a tactical rail, checkered grip surfaces and a built-in thumb rest. The result is a striker gun with the heft and feel of a metal-framed pistol, at about 27 ounces, while still running inexpensive Glock-compatible magazines. The slide carries Fusion pro serrations and lightening vents, and it is cut for optics right out of the box.
Threaded Barrel and Suppressor Notes
The threaded barrel extends slightly past the slide and is ready for a compensator or suppressor mount. Confirm the thread pitch and use a thread protector when shooting without a device. Suppressors are NFA items that require an approved ATF Form 4 and must be legal in your state, and some states restrict threaded barrels on pistols altogether. A suppressed striker pistol may also need a stronger recoil spring or booster to cycle reliably, so plan on some testing.

Optics, Sights and Trigger
Fixed combat sights come standard, and the slide is optics-ready with RMR and RMS/C mounting plates included in the box, so most popular red dots install without extra parts. The flat-face trigger breaks at roughly 4.5 pounds, lighter and cleaner than many duty striker triggers, which helps with accuracy at longer distances. Because there is no manual safety, use a holster that fully covers the trigger guard.
Grips and Ergonomics
Two sets of aluminum grip panels are included, one black and one snow camo, so you can change the look in minutes. The frame has a thumb rest for the support hand and checkering for a firm hold. Metal grip panels add weight and a premium feel, but they can be cold in winter and slick with gloves, so try both sets before settling on one. Holster selection is more limited than for a Glock, so check fit with the holster maker first.

Magazines and Capacity
This model ships with two 10-round magazines, making it a good option for states with capacity limits. Because the pistol uses Glock-compatible magazines, spares are affordable and easy to find, and buyers in unrestricted states can use standard 17-round magazines. Always function-test aftermarket magazines before relying on them.
Durability and Value
The chrome slide resists corrosion and stands out against the black frame, but bright finishes can show holster wear and reflect sunlight. Fusion backs its pistols with a lifetime workmanship guarantee. Fusion is a smaller maker than the big striker brands, so resale value and aftermarket support may trail a Glock, though compatibility with Glock-pattern magazines and many Gen4 parts helps.
State Laws and Ownership
Threaded barrels on semi-automatic pistols are restricted or banned in some states, and several states also limit magazine capacity or keep handgun rosters. Check your state and local laws before ordering, and ask your receiving FFL if you are unsure whether this configuration can be transferred where you live.
