Description
Federal 6mm ARC 108gr Berger Gold Medal ammunition loads Berger’s high BC boat tail target bullet into the compact 6mm ARC for serious long range accuracy. The 108 grain bullet leaves the muzzle at about 2,650 feet per second with a G1 ballistic coefficient of .522 (G7 .268), giving flat trajectories and less wind drift from AR-15 and bolt action rifles. Each box holds 20 rounds.

Match Accuracy from a Compact Cartridge
The 6mm ARC was designed to bring true long range performance to AR-15 sized rifles. It fires efficient, high BC 6mm bullets from a short case that works in AR-15 sized receivers when paired with a 6mm ARC barrel, bolt and magazines, making it a favorite for precision shooters who want a light, handy rifle.
Berger boat tail target bullets are among the most popular choices at Precision Rifle Series events, and Federal pairs them with Gold Medal match primers, Federal brass and specially formulated propellant. Gold Medal loads are held to Federal’s tightest specifications for accuracy, pressure and velocity.
Federal’s published ballistics show this load holding about 2,010 feet per second at 400 yards, carrying the efficient 6mm bullet well past where many intermediate cartridges run out of steam.

Long Range Shooting Tips
Use Federal 6mm ARC 108gr Berger Gold Medal ammo only in rifles chambered for 6mm ARC.
Use the G7 ballistic coefficient in your ballistic calculator for the most accurate long range drop and drift predictions.
True your data at 300 yards and beyond by recording actual impacts rather than relying only on published velocity.
Clean and inspect your barrel regularly. Match ammunition shows its full potential in a clean, well maintained bore.
Federal 6mm ARC 108gr Berger Gold Medal ammo is a superb choice for precision rifle competitors, long range steel shooters and AR-15 owners who want match level accuracy from the 6mm ARC.
Hornady introduced the 6mm ARC in 2020, and it quickly earned a following among both competitors and hunters. Federal 6mm ARC 108gr Berger Gold Medal ammo carries roughly 1,680 foot pounds of energy at the muzzle by standard calculation, but its real strength is how efficiently the high BC bullet resists wind and keeps its velocity at distance.
Wind is the biggest challenge in long range shooting, and bullet BC is the best defense against it. The Berger boat tail in Federal 6mm ARC 108gr Berger Gold Medal rounds gives you smaller wind calls and more forgiving misses than lighter, lower BC bullets, which adds up to more hits on steel at 600 yards and beyond.
Consistency matters as much as BC. Gold Medal ammunition is loaded to tight tolerances so velocity stays uniform from shot to shot, keeping vertical dispersion small at long range.
Store your ammunition in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, as temperature affects velocity. Buying several boxes of Federal 6mm ARC 108gr Berger Gold Medal from the same lot keeps your data consistent through an entire match season.
Record your chronograph readings with each new lot so your ballistic solver stays matched to the ammunition in your bag.
