Description
The Federal 6.8 SPC 115gr TMJ load is built for shooters who want more from their 6.8mm Remington SPC than typical factory ammunition delivers. Federal loads a 115 grain total metal jacket to a rated 2675 feet per second, producing about 1828 foot-pounds of energy. Federal American Eagle is the company’s everyday training line, built to shoot clean and feed reliably so you can put real volume through your rifle or pistol without paying premium-hunting-load prices. It is meant for practice, qualification and plinking rather than hunting or defense.
Why Choose the Federal 6.8 SPC 115gr TMJ
- 115 grain total metal jacket bullet
- Rated 2675 fps and 1828 ft-lbs
- Brass cases with reliable primers
- Affordable, consistent practice ammo
- 20 rounds per box, item AE68A
Built for Training and Practice
- Affordable load for regular range practice
- Reliable feeding and ignition
- Consistent velocities for repeatable practice
- Quality brass cases
Buying ammunition by the box from the same production lot keeps velocity and point of impact consistent from one range trip to the next. Keep a record of the load you carry, check your ammunition for dents or loose bullets from time to time, and rotate your carry rounds so the ones in your firearm stay fresh. These simple habits help you get the full performance Federal builds into every cartridge.
Before you trust any new load, fire enough rounds through your firearm to confirm it feeds, fires and ejects reliably and that the point of impact matches your sights. Full-power loads produce more recoil and muzzle blast than typical range ammo, so practice with the Federal 6.8 SPC 115gr TMJ until you are comfortable with it, and store the rest in a cool, dry place in the original box.
