Why Choose the Federal 20 ga 7/8oz #8 Target

• 7/8 oz of #8 lead shot
• Rated 1200 fps muzzle velocity
• 2-3/4 in 20 Gauge hull
• One-piece wad for consistent patterns
• 25 rounds per box, item SSC208

Built for Clay Target Shooting

• Smooth, manageable recoil for long days on the range
• Consistent velocities for predictable leads
• Reliable ignition and cycling in semi-automatic shotguns
• Suited to trap, skeet and sporting clays

Patterning your shotgun with a new load is the best way to know how it performs. Shoot a few rounds at a large sheet of paper at 25 to 35 yards with the choke you plan to hunt with, and check that the densest part of the pattern lines up with your point of aim. Trying a tighter or more open choke can make a real difference on fast, close birds.

Store shotshells in a cool, dry place in their original box, and keep loads with different shot sizes separated so you always grab the right shell in the field. Buying enough from the same lot for the whole season keeps velocity and pattern consistent from one hunt to the next, so your practice carries over to the field.

Trap, skeet and sporting clays have grown into some of the most popular shooting sports in the country, with leagues at local clubs and high school teams competing every season. Each discipline rewards consistency, and using the same reliable target load every round helps shooters build a smooth swing and a repeatable sight picture from station to station.

Clay shooters burn through a lot of shells, so dependable 20 ga target loads at a reasonable price make a real difference. This Estate Super Sport load delivers 7/8 oz of #8 shot at about 1200 fps with the consistency that helps you run more targets.

These 20 ga clay target shells are built with quality hulls, primers and wads so patterns stay even from shot to shot. The #8 shot size gives a dense pattern that works well for skeet and close sporting clays presentations.

Estate Cartridge is part of the Federal Premium family, and its Super Sport Competition Target line is loaded in Anoka, Minnesota with the same attention to consistency that Federal is known for. Many trap, skeet and sporting clays shooters choose federal 20 ga ammo from the Estate line because it delivers smooth recoil and reliable ignition at an affordable price.

These shotshells are a good fit for trap, skeet and sporting clays shooters using 20 Gauge pump, semi-automatic and over-under shotguns, as well as for casual weekend clay shooting. Always confirm your shotgun is chambered for 2-3/4 in 20 Gauge shells, wear eye and ear protection, and follow all federal, state and local hunting laws.
