CorBon 45 Colt +P 200gr JHP – Powerful 45 Colt Self-Defense Ammo, 1100 fps, 20 Rounds

Description

The CorBon 45 Colt +P 200gr JHP load is built for shooters who want a proven 45 Colt +P round from a company that helped shape modern high-velocity handgun ammunition. Each box holds 20 cartridges loaded with a 200 grain jacketed hollow point bullet rated at 1100 feet per second, producing about 537 foot-pounds of muzzle energy. CorBon designs its JHP bullets to open reliably, even after passing through heavy clothing, and to transfer energy quickly for dependable stopping power.

This 45 Colt 200 grain hollow point is rated from a 4 inch barrel and is loaded to +P pressure, so it is meant only for modern revolvers built to handle it.

Why Choose the CorBon 45 Colt +P 200gr JHP

• 200 grain jacketed hollow point bullet
• Rated 1100 fps muzzle velocity, 537 ft-lbs energy
• Designed for reliable expansion through heavy clothing
• Reloadable brass cases with boxer primers
• 20 rounds per box, item SD45C200/20

Built for Personal Protection

• Carry and home-defense handguns chambered in 45 Colt +P
• Shooters who want a high-velocity defensive load
• Practice sessions to confirm point of impact with your carry ammo
• Keeping one consistent lot of ammo in your carry gun and range bag

Before you trust any new defensive load, fire at least 50 to 100 rounds through your handgun to confirm it feeds, fires and ejects reliably and that the point of impact matches your sights. Rotate your carry ammo every so often, and store the rest in a cool, dry place in the original box so the cartridges stay clean and easy to identify by lot number.

Check with your firearm maker before using any +P 45 Colt load, and practice with the CorBon 45 Colt +P 200gr JHP before you carry it. Confirm your point of impact, since fixed-sight revolvers may shoot higher or lower with a lighter, faster bullet than with the heavier loads they were regulated for.

Why Choose CorBon 45 Colt +P Ammo

The CorBon +P load turns the 45 Colt into a fast, hard-hitting defensive round. The 200 grain JHP is rated at 1100 fps and 537 foot-pounds from a 4 inch barrel, giving the hollow point plenty of speed to expand while the added weight helps it reach adequate depth through heavy clothing.

When you compare 45 colt self defense ammo, remember that +P 45 Colt loads exceed standard SAAMI pressure and are meant only for strong modern firearms. This load pairs well with the Ruger Redhawk, Super Redhawk and New Model Blackhawk in 45 Colt and 454 Casull revolvers. Never fire it in Single Action Army style revolvers, older guns or reproductions.

CorBon has built high-velocity defensive ammunition in South Dakota since 1982, when the company set out to solve a common problem: hollow points that plugged with clothing and failed to expand. That focus on real-world performance is still at the heart of every box. Corbon 45 colt +p ammo is loaded to tight standards so shot-to-shot velocity stays consistent, which helps you build confidence in the same load you train with and carry.

Owners of heavy-frame 45 Colt and 454 Casull revolvers who want a powerful defensive load will find this a strong choice. Always confirm your firearm is chambered for 45 Colt +P, wear eye and ear protection, and follow all federal, state and local laws.
