Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed LR 300 Win Mag Overview
The X-Bolt 2 is the newest version of the Browning flagship bolt action, with a redesigned receiver and bolt. The Speed LR takes the Speed formula and stretches it for longer shots: a longer barrel for more velocity, a brake to keep you on target for follow up shots, and a higher capacity magazine. It weighs about a pound more than the standard Speed, which most shooters find steadier off a pack or bipod.
Vari-Tech Adjustable Stock
The Vari-Tech composite stock adjusts for length of pull, comb height and grip angle, so you can set the rifle up for a heavy coat or a summer shirt and get your eye lined up behind the scope. Browning lists a 13 5/8 inch base length of pull, and the OVIX camo pattern blends into a wide range of terrain. Photos show an accessory rail under the forend for a bipod.
Long Fluted Barrel and Brake

About Suppressors

The Plus Magazine System is a detachable box magazine that holds more rounds than the flush rotary magazine on the standard Speed. Spare magazines are sold by Browning, and the rifle still uses the familiar X-Bolt top tang safety and bolt unlock button.

The barrel and receiver wear Smoked Bronze Cerakote, a tough ceramic coating that resists rust, scratches and solvents, so the rifle can handle rain, snow and long days bouncing around in a truck.
