Browning Citori 825 Sporting Adjustable Overview
The Citori is the best known Browning over and under, and the 825 is the newest generation. Browning gave it new styling and engraving, enhanced controls and the Fire Lite 2 mechanical trigger. The Sporting model is set up for clay targets, with long barrels for a smooth swing, a target rib and a comb you can fit to your face.
Adjustable Comb
The comb adjusts for height and cast, so you can line your eye up with the rib and get the gun shooting where you look. That fit is a big part of breaking more targets. Browning lists a 14 3/4 inch length of pull and an Inflex 2 recoil pad, which helps on long days at the range.
Fire Lite 2 Mechanical Trigger
The Fire Lite 2 is a mechanical trigger, so the second barrel fires from the mechanism rather than from recoil of the first shot. That means a reliable second shot even with light target loads. The trigger shoe is gold plated.
30 Inch Barrels and Chokes

A 30 inch Sporting gun handles every station on a sporting clays course and is also very good for skeet and five stand. If you mostly shoot trap, look at a dedicated trap model with a higher rib.
Cleaning and Care
Clean the bores and chokes after each outing and keep the choke threads lightly greased. Wipe the walnut and receiver with a lightly oiled cloth and store the gun broken down in its case.
