Bergara B-14R Carbon Barreled Action .22 LR 18″ – Brilliant Precision Trainer

Description

The Bergara B-14R Carbon Barreled Action gives you the heart of Bergara’s popular rimfire trainer so you can drop it into the stock or chassis of your choice. This assembly (Bergara model B14RBA002, UPC 043125015344) is chambered in .22 LR and pairs an 18-inch carbon fiber barrel with a Graphite Black Cerakote receiver, a factory trigger and a 10-round magazine.

Bergara B-14R Carbon Barreled Action Overview

Bergara built the B-14R to be the best production precision .22 it could make for new shooters and seasoned competitors alike. The action mirrors the size, bolt throw and feel of the centerfire B-14, which makes it a natural rimfire precision trainer for anyone who shoots a full-size hunting or match rifle. Buying the Bergara B-14R Carbon Barreled Action instead of a complete rifle lets you match your rimfire to the exact stock or chassis you already run on your centerfire gun.

Carbon Fiber Barrel for a Balanced Build

The 18-inch carbon fiber barrel uses a steel liner wrapped in carbon in a No. 6 contour. It keeps the stiffness and heat resistance of a heavy barrel while trimming weight off the front of the rifle, which helps balance a heavy chassis and makes positional shooting less tiring. Bergara barrels are known for their match-grade rifling and consistent accuracy with quality rimfire ammunition.

Ideal Base for an NRL22 Rifle Build

NRL22 and PRS rimfire matches reward a rifle that feels like your centerfire rig, and this assembly was designed with that in mind. Install it in a chassis with an adjustable cheek riser and an ARCA rail, add a quality scope with a mil or MOA reticle, and you have a competitive NRL22 rifle build that costs far less to feed than a centerfire. The receiver is drilled and tapped for standard scope bases.

What Is Included

The package includes the barreled receiver, bolt, trigger and one 10-round detachable magazine. It does not include a stock, chassis, bottom metal, scope base or optic. The assembly is designed for stocks and chassis made for the Bergara B-14 rifle, so confirm fit with your stock or chassis maker before you order.

Before You Buy

This is a serialized firearm, so it must ship to a licensed FFL dealer and transfer like any rifle. You will need a compatible stock or chassis, plus scope rings or a rail, before it is ready to shoot. Rimfire accuracy depends heavily on ammunition, so test a few brands of standard-velocity and match .22 LR to find what your barrel likes best.

Who It Is For

The Bergara B-14R Carbon Barreled Action suits shooters who want a 22 LR bolt action that matches their centerfire setup, builders assembling a dedicated NRL22 rig, and anyone who wants to practice wind calls and positional shooting for pennies per shot.
