Description

The Andro Corp ACI-15 Stripped Lower is where a build starts. It is a bare serialized 7075 forged AR-15 stripped lower receiver, type 3 hard coat anodized, cut to mil-spec dimensions and rolled ACI-15 CAL MULTI so it is not committed to any one cartridge. Nothing is installed. That is the point: you pick every part that goes in it. The factory catalog entry is Andro Corp Industries LACI15S, UPC 736684139933, and MAG5 Firearms transfers it like any other firearm.

What the Andro Corp ACI-15 Stripped Lower actually is

Forged, not billet and not cast. The Andro Corp ACI-15 Stripped Lower starts as a 7075-T6 aluminum forging, the same process and alloy used on military pattern receivers, then gets machined to mil-spec dimensions. Forged receivers are stronger through the buffer tower and the takedown lugs than cast ones, and unlike billet they drop into any standard AR-15 parts ecosystem without fitment surprises.

The finish on the Andro Corp ACI-15 Stripped Lower is type 3 hard coat anodizing rather than a decorative coating. It grows into the aluminum instead of sitting on top of it, which is why it holds up to solvents, sweat and the rubbing a magazine does against the magazine well over a few thousand rounds.

The rollmark reads ACI-15 CAL MULTI along with Andro Corp Industries, Winter Garden, FL and the serial number. Multi caliber is the useful part: this same Andro Corp ACI-15 Stripped Lower can wear a 5.56 NATO upper today, a 300 Blackout upper next year and a 9mm upper after that, with the marking on the receiver staying accurate the whole time.

What you still need, and the order to buy it in

A Andro Corp ACI-15 Stripped Lower on its own will not fire anything. You need a lower parts kit, which covers the trigger group, safety selector, magazine release, bolt catch, pins, springs and detents; a grip; a receiver extension with castle nut, end plate, buffer and spring; a stock or brace; and a complete upper receiver assembly.

That list is not short, and with a bare Andro Corp ACI-15 Stripped Lower it is worth being honest that buying all of it separately usually costs a little more than buying the same pieces bundled. What you get for the extra money is control: the exact trigger you want, the grip that fits your hand, the stock you actually like. If none of that matters to you yet, a partial or complete lower is the faster route and we stock both.

One legal point before you buy the upper. A virgin Andro Corp ACI-15 Stripped Lower that has never been assembled into a complete firearm can lawfully become either a rifle or a pistol. Once you build it as a rifle, converting it to a pistol later is a separate question with a different answer. Decide which you are building first, and check current ATF guidance and your state law rather than relying on what someone told you at the range.

Quote part number LACI15S when you order, because Andro Corp also sells a partial lower with the parts kit and buffer tube already fitted and the two are easy to mix up. If you would rather skip the small parts assembly, the ACI-15 partial M4 lower is the next step up, and the rest of our in stock firearms are there when you want the finished rifle instead.

Forged 7075-T6 is stronger through the buffer tower than a cast receiver and cheaper than billet with no fitment penalty.

Type 3 hard coat anodizing is a real surface treatment, not a paint, and it wears accordingly.

A 7075 forged multi caliber lower lets one receiver serve a 5.56, a 300 Blackout and a 9mm upper over its life.

Mil-spec dimensions mean any standard lower parts kit, grip, stock and upper you buy will fit without hand fitting.

The Andro Corp ACI-15 Stripped Lower is for the builder who wants to choose every component, and for anyone who has a spare upper and a parts drawer already. It is also the cheapest way to add a second serialized receiver so you can keep two configurations set up at once. Remember that the Andro Corp ACI-15 Stripped Lower is a firearm: it ships to a licensed dealer, not to your door, and the same transfer and background check apply as they would to a complete rifle.
