CCI GamePoint 22 WMR 40gr JSP – Deadly Small Game Rimfire Ammo, 1875 fps, 50 Rounds

Description

The CCI GamePoint 22 WMR 40gr JSP load gives .22 Magnum hunters a bullet designed around small game rather than varmints. CCI built this 40 grain jacketed soft point with a Dimple Tip that starts expansion on impact, much like a controlled-expansion big game bullet, and drives it at a rated 1875 feet per second. The result is a hard-hitting rimfire load that transfers energy quickly while keeping meat and hide damage low, ideal for rabbits, squirrels, raccoons and foxes.

Why Choose the CCI GamePoint 22 WMR 40gr JSP

• 40 grain jacketed soft point with Dimple Tip
• Rated 1875 fps muzzle velocity
• Controlled expansion for quick, humane kills
• Minimal meat and hide damage
• 50 rounds per box, CCI 0022

Built for Small Game and Furbearers

• Heavier 40 grain bullet carries more energy than .22 LR
• Expands without fragmenting like light varmint bullets
• Consistent accuracy from reliable CCI priming
• Fits any rifle or handgun chambered for .22 WMR

CCI has built rimfire ammunition in Lewiston, Idaho for decades, and its priming is known for consistent ignition in all kinds of weather. Once your scope is zeroed with this load, check it again before each season, since switching between bullet weights and styles can shift point of impact.

Rimfire bullets can travel well over a mile, so always confirm a safe backstop before taking any shot. Practice from field positions such as sitting and kneeling before the season opens so you can place every shot where it counts. Store the box in a cool, dry place to protect the ammunition.

Shot placement still matters with any rimfire. Head shots on squirrels and rabbits, and well-placed shots just behind the shoulder on raccoons and foxes, give the quickest results. Keep your shots within the range where you can reliably hit a small target, typically inside 100 yards for most .22 Magnum rifles.

The .22 WMR also works well in lever-action rifles, bolt-actions and many revolvers, so one box can serve several of your rimfire guns. Test a few rounds in each to confirm accuracy and function before heading into the field.

Why Hunters Choose 22 WMR GamePoint

Many .22 Magnum loads use light polymer-tipped bullets that fragment on impact, which works well on prairie dogs but can ruin meat and pelts. The 22 wmr gamepoint load uses a heavier 40 grain soft point that opens in a controlled way, delivering solid energy without blowing apart. That makes it a smart choice for hunters who plan to eat what they shoot or sell the hides.

The Dimple Tip is a small indentation in the nose of the jacket that helps start expansion reliably, even at longer rimfire distances. Paired with the extra reach of the .22 Magnum, this 22 mag soft point is a versatile load for rabbits and squirrels as well as raccoons, foxes and other furbearers at reasonable distances.

The .22 WMR shoots flatter and hits harder than a .22 LR, so you can take ethical shots farther out with confidence.

Small game hunters, trappers and anyone who wants dependable 22 magnum hunting ammo that saves meat and pelts will get steady performance from this 50-round box. Always confirm your firearm is chambered for .22 WMR, know what is beyond your target, and follow all federal, state and local hunting laws.
