EMF Alloy Series 9mm 3.5 Matte Black – Superb 3.5″ Single Action Revolver

Description

The EMF Alloy Series 9mm 3.5 Matte Black revolver is a compact single action in 9mm Luger with a 3.5 inch barrel, an alloy steel frame, a matte black steel finish and black checkered grips. It holds six rounds and offers classic western handling in a shorter, handier package.

EMF Alloy Series 9mm 3.5 Matte Black Overview

E.M.F. Company of Santa Ana, California, has imported quality reproductions of classic American firearms for decades. Its Alloy Series single actions follow the traditional Colt pattern: you cock the hammer for each shot, load and unload one chamber at a time through the loading gate, and eject spent cases with the ejector rod. The EMF Alloy Series 9mm 3.5 Matte Black uses fixed sights, a front blade and a rear notch in the top strap, and its short barrel makes it quick to point and easy to carry.

Caliber Notes

A single action revolver chambered in 9mm Luger lets you shoot inexpensive, widely available pistol ammunition with classic western style. Because 9mm is a rimless cartridge, ejection works differently than with rimmed revolver rounds; follow the manufacturer’s guidance on loading and unloading.

Short Barrel Handling

A 3.5 inch barrel balances fast handling with enough sight radius for practical accuracy at typical handgun distances. It is a popular length for carry in a belt holster and for fast cowboy style shooting.

Safe Carry

Traditional single action revolvers should be carried with the hammer down on an empty chamber unless the model includes a transfer bar or other safety system. Load five, skip one, then lower the hammer on the empty chamber.

Practice and Training

Regular practice builds confidence and safe handling. Start at close range, focus on sight alignment and a smooth trigger press, and work back as your groups tighten. Dry fire with snap caps at home to improve your trigger control between range trips.

Choosing Ammunition

Try several brands and bullet weights to see what feeds reliably and groups best in your handgun. Use quality full metal jacket loads for practice and proven hollow points for defense, and confirm reliable function with your defensive load before carrying it.

Care and Maintenance

Clean the barrel, slide or cylinder and frame after shooting, apply a light coat of quality lubricant to moving parts, and store the handgun unloaded in a locked case or safe away from children.

Safe Storage

Store handguns unloaded in a locked safe, lockbox or with a cable lock, and keep ammunition separate when children are in the home. Quick access safes keep a defensive handgun secure but available. Teach everyone in the household basic firearm safety rules.

Ordering From MAG5

Choose your local FFL dealer at checkout and we ship directly to them. Once the firearm arrives, your dealer runs the background check and completes the transfer paperwork. Most dealers charge a modest transfer fee, so ask about it before you order.
