Description
The TR Imports Light Super 410 is a steel-receiver over/under in .410 bore with 28-inch barrels, Turkish walnut furniture, automatic ejectors and five choke tubes. It is a full-featured sporting gun at a price that usually buys a much plainer shotgun.
Light Weight From Steel, Not Aluminum
Most affordable double guns save weight by using an aluminum receiver. That works, but aluminum receivers wear differently over a long life and many shooters simply prefer steel. TR Imports takes the harder route with advanced steel alloys, so the Light Super 410 comes in light without giving up the durability of a steel action. On a .410 that matters twice over, because the whole point of the bore is a gun you can carry all day.
28-Inch Barrels in .410
Twenty-eight inches is a long barrel for a .410, and that is deliberate. The extra length smooths the swing on crossing birds and clays, and it makes the most of a small charge of shot. Chambers are cut for 3-inch shells, so you can run everything from light 2.5-inch target loads up to 3-inch hunting shells through the TR Imports Light Super 410.
Automatic Ejectors as Standard
Auto ejectors throw fired hulls clear when you open the action, rather than merely lifting them for you to pick out. On a sporting gun that is a real convenience between stations, and it is a feature usually reserved for more expensive doubles. Extractors would have been the cheaper choice. TR Imports fitted ejectors instead.
Five Choke Tubes Included
Five interchangeable chokes ship with the gun, cut to the widely used Mobil thread pattern. That means replacements and specialist tubes are easy to find and inexpensive, and you are not locked into a proprietary system. Changing chokes is the cheapest way to move a shotgun between skeet, sporting clays and small game.
Turkish Walnut Furniture
The stock and forend are Turkish walnut, the same material used on shotguns costing several times as much. Walnut absorbs recoil better than synthetic and looks considerably better doing it. There is very little recoil to absorb in .410, which makes this a strong choice for younger shooters and anyone recoil sensitive.
Barrel Selector and Safety
A combined safety and barrel selector sits on the tang where the thumb naturally falls, letting you choose which barrel fires first without taking the gun off your shoulder. Pair the open choke with the first barrel and the tighter one second and you have a sensible setup for birds.

Who Should Buy It
This is a first shotgun, a youth or small-framed shooter’s gun, and a genuinely pleasant clays gun for anyone who has grown tired of getting beaten up by 12 gauge. Recoil in .410 is close to nothing, and the long barrels help you swing rather than poke.
The TR Imports Light Super 410 fires a small payload, so it demands better shooting than a 12 gauge does and it is a poor choice for waterfowl or anything at distance. Bore ammunition also costs more per shell than 12 or 20 gauge despite holding less shot.
Shooters wanting an all-round hunting shotgun should compare a 20 gauge, and high-volume clays shooters will find 12 gauge cheaper to feed. Both are in our catalog. Every firearm we list ships to your chosen FFL and is transferred in accordance with federal and state law.
