CMMG Banshee FE MkG 45 ACP 5 in. Titanium – Rugged AR Pistol

Description

The CMMG Banshee FE MkG 45 ACP 5 in. Titanium is a 45 ACP AR-style pistol from CMMG with a 5 inch black nitride threaded barrel, a Titanium Cerakote receiver, an M-LOK handguard and a CMMG RipBrace. It holds 13+1 rounds.

CMMG Banshee FE MkG 45 ACP 5 in. Titanium Overview

CMMG builds the Banshee as a compact AR platform for pistol calibers, and the MkG version feeds from common double-stack 45 ACP magazines. Like other CMMG pistol-caliber ARs it runs on the Radial Delayed Blowback system, which softens recoil and reduces wear. The 5 inch barrel has a black nitride finish and a threaded muzzle for a suppressor or muzzle device. The aluminum receiver set is finished in Titanium Cerakote with a full-length Picatinny top rail for optics, and the M-LOK handguard has room for a light or laser.

The rear is fitted with a CMMG RipBrace, and the CMMG Zeroed grip gives a comfortable, secure hold. The result is a very short, quiet-running and controllable 45 ACP pistol.

Why 45 ACP in an AR

The 45 ACP is subsonic in most loads, which makes it one of the best cartridges for suppressor use. In a short AR pistol it delivers big, slow bullets with mild recoil, making it a fun range gun and a compact home defense option.

Setup and Accessories

Add a compact red dot to the top rail and a weapon light to the M-LOK handguard. Suppressors are NFA items and require an approved ATF Form 4 and state legality, but the threaded barrel makes the Banshee an ideal host once approved.

Brace and Legal Notes

The RipBrace is a pistol stabilizing brace. Brace regulations have changed in recent years, so check current federal, state and local law before purchase and before making any changes to the configuration.

Practice and Training

Regular practice builds confidence and safe handling. Start at close range, focus on sight alignment and a smooth trigger press, and work back as your groups tighten. Dry fire with snap caps at home to improve your trigger control between range trips.

Choosing Ammunition

Try several brands and bullet weights to see what feeds reliably and groups best in your handgun. Use quality full metal jacket loads for practice and proven hollow points for defense, and confirm reliable function with your defensive load before carrying it.

Care and Maintenance

Clean the barrel, slide or cylinder and frame after shooting, apply a light coat of quality lubricant to moving parts, and store the handgun unloaded in a locked case or safe away from children.

Safe Storage

Store handguns unloaded in a locked safe, lockbox or with a cable lock, and keep ammunition separate when children are in the home. Quick access safes keep a defensive handgun secure but available. Teach everyone in the household basic firearm safety rules.

Recommended Accessories

A quality holster, spare magazines, eye and ear protection and a cleaning kit round out any handgun purchase. For defensive use, add a weapon light and practice drawing safely from your holster with an unloaded gun before carrying.
