Diamondback Sidekick 22 LR WMR 5.5 – Fun Inch 9 Shot Revolver

Description

The Diamondback Sidekick 22 LR WMR 5.5 inch revolver is a nine shot, western styled rimfire with two cylinders, so you can shoot inexpensive 22 LR or harder hitting 22 WMR from the same gun. This version has a 5.5 inch barrel, an aluminum and black Cerakote finish, Dima toned cylinders and black and grey laminate grips.

Diamondback Sidekick 22 LR WMR 5.5 Overview

Diamondback designed the Sidekick to blend single action styling with modern double action and single action convenience. You can thumb cock the hammer for a light single action shot or simply pull the trigger in double action. The swing out cylinder makes loading and unloading quick, and the second cylinder swaps in when you want 22 Magnum power. The frame is zinc alloy, keeping cost down, and sights consist of a blade front and an integral rear notch.

Two Cylinders, Two Cartridges

22 LR is cheap, quiet and ideal for plinking and training. 22 WMR adds velocity and energy for pests and small game. Always fire each cartridge only in its matching cylinder.

Nine Shot Capacity

Nine rounds per cylinder means more shooting and less loading compared with traditional six shot rimfire revolvers.

Finish and Grips

The two-tone aluminum and black Cerakote finish with Dima toned cylinders and laminate grips make this distributor special edition stand out.

Practice and Training

Regular practice builds confidence and safe handling. Start at close range, focus on sight alignment and a smooth trigger press, and work back as your groups tighten. Dry fire with snap caps at home to improve your trigger control between range trips.

Choosing Ammunition

Try several brands and bullet weights to see what feeds reliably and groups best in your handgun. Use quality full metal jacket loads for practice and proven hollow points for defense, and confirm reliable function with your defensive load before carrying it.

Care and Maintenance

Clean the barrel, slide or cylinder and frame after shooting, apply a light coat of quality lubricant to moving parts, and store the handgun unloaded in a locked case or safe away from children.

Safe Storage

Store handguns unloaded in a locked safe, lockbox or with a cable lock, and keep ammunition separate when children are in the home. Quick access safes keep a defensive handgun secure but available. Teach everyone in the household basic firearm safety rules.
