Description
The Winchester XPR Renegade LR 6.5 CM is a rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 22-inch barrel and a 3+1 capacity. It has a green Grayboe Renegade Long Range stock with black webbing and a threaded black Perma-Cote sporter barrel.
Winchester XPR Renegade LR 6.5 CM Overview
The XPR Renegade Long Range takes Winchester’s modern XPR action and sets it up for shooting at distance. The Grayboe Renegade stock adds an adjustable comb and a near-vertical grip, and the threaded sporter barrel accepts a brake or suppressor, so it is ready for long-range hunting and steel without a trip to a gunsmith.
Design and Features
Grayboe stocks are built from fiberglass-reinforced polymer with a solid, stable feel, and the adjustable comb lets you line your eye up with a large scope. The barrel and receiver are finished in black Perma-Cote for rust resistance, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases. A flush-cup and sling-stud setup gives you options for slings and bipods.
Handling in the Field
The Renegade Long Range is heavier than a standard XPR, and that weight helps it settle in on a bipod and soak up recoil. If you add a suppressor, remember it is an NFA item that requires an approved ATF Form 4 and must be legal in your state; a brake is simpler but much louder.
Action and Trigger
The XPR uses a three-lug bolt with a short 60-degree throw, so you can cycle it quickly without bumping your scope. The M.O.A. trigger system breaks crisply with zero take-up and very little creep, and a two-position safety with a bolt release button lets you unload with the safety on. The detachable box magazine makes loading and unloading quick.
Sights and Optics
Mount the optic of your choice with quality rings or a mount, and zero it with the load you plan to use.
The 6.5 Creedmoor Cartridge
The 6.5 Creedmoor is known for long, aerodynamic bullets, mild recoil, and excellent accuracy, which makes it a favorite for long-range target work and for deer and pronghorn.
Setup and Accessories
Start with a quality optic and solid rings or a mount, then add a sling for carrying and a bipod or shooting bag for steady rests. Test a few loads for accuracy and settle on the one your rifle likes best. A hard case protects your investment on the way to the range or the field.
Ownership Tips
Read the owner manual fully before your first range trip, and keep the manual, box, and receipt with your records for warranty service and resale. Unload the rifle and confirm it is empty before cleaning. Field-strip it according to the owner manual, scrub the bore with a brush and patches, and wipe carbon from the bolt face and chamber. Apply a light coat of quality gun oil to the contact points, and wipe the exterior with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.
State Laws
Magazine capacity limits, feature restrictions, and transfer rules vary by state and locality. Check your local laws before ordering, and ask your receiving dealer if you are unsure whether this configuration is legal where you live.

When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee.
