Weaver 30mm Fixed MSR Mount Overview

Push the mount forward in the slots so the lugs bear against the front of the slot, then tighten the clamp screws to Weaver specification. Set eye relief, level the reticle, and tighten the ring caps evenly in a crisscross pattern with a torque driver.

Scope Pairing Ideas

Low power variable optics in the 1-6x or 1-8x class and mid-range scopes such as a 3-9×40 or 4-16×44 are the most common matches. The forward offset helps longer-eyepiece scopes reach proper eye relief on a carbine-length stock. Check that the scope tube has enough straight length between turret and bells for the ring spacing.

Honest Limitations

This mount fits 30mm tubes and Picatinny rails only. The 1.5 inch height that suits ARs may sit too high on bolt rifles with low stocks. It is not quick detach, and it has no built-in cant for extreme long-range elevation.
