Description
The Trijicon Suppressor Sights Yellow Rear set is a suppressor and optic height pair for standard frame Glock pistols with a green tritium front lamp and yellow tritium rear lamps. The two colour arrangement means the front sight can never be confused with the rear in the dark. Part GL201-C-600651.

Tritium Colours Are Not Equally Bright
This is the part most buyers do not know. Tritium lamps glow by exciting a phosphor, and the phosphor colour changes how bright the lamp appears to the human eye. Green is the brightest by a clear margin. Yellow comes second. Orange is the dimmest of the three.
That is why every one of these sets puts green up front. The front sight is the one you must see, so it gets the brightest phosphor. The rear lamps only need to be visible enough to frame it, which is why the Trijicon Suppressor Sights Yellow Rear set uses yellow back there rather than another green.
Yellow Rear Or Orange Rear
Trijicon offers this set with either yellow or orange rear lamps and the difference is exactly the brightness question above. Yellow sits closer to green in apparent brightness, so the rear lamps stay clearly visible and you get a full, bright sight picture in the dark.
Orange is dimmer, which some shooters prefer because it pushes the front sight even further forward in the eye’s attention. If you want the rear lamps present and easy to see, the Trijicon Suppressor Sights Yellow Rear set is the one. If you want them present but deliberately quieter, choose the orange rear version.
Why Not Three Greens
Because in the dark three identical lamps give you no way to tell which is which. Under stress, at an odd angle, or with the pistol canted, mistaking a rear lamp for the front one is a real failure mode and it puts the shot somewhere you did not intend.
A colour split removes the ambiguity without removing the rear lamps. That is the whole design intent of the Trijicon Suppressor Sights Yellow Rear set, and it is why these two colour arrangements have become common on duty and home defence pistols.

Daylight Is A Separate Question
Lamp colour only matters once the light goes. In daylight what you see is the white paint, and this set is ringed in white at both the front and the rear, giving you the conventional three dot picture most shooters learned on.
So the Trijicon Suppressor Sights Yellow Rear set behaves as an ordinary three dot sight by day and an unambiguous two colour sight by night. If you would rather the eye went only to the front blade in daylight as well, a set with a blacked out rear is the better fit.
Why Shooters Choose The Trijicon Suppressor Sights Yellow Rear Set
- Green front lamp with yellow rear lamps, so the front sight is unmistakable
- Yellow is brighter than orange, keeping the rear lamps clearly visible
- Suppressor and optic height blades that co witness through most pistol red dots
- White rings front and rear for a familiar daylight sight picture
- Tight 0.15 in. square rear notch
- Covers nearly the whole standard frame Glock lineup
Suppressor And Optic Height
Overall front blade height is four hundred and eighteen thousandths of an inch and the rear is four hundred and fifty one. That is well above factory height, which is what lets the blades clear a suppressor body or appear inside the window of a slide mounted red dot.
As backup irons behind an optic the Trijicon Suppressor Sights Yellow Rear set has a specific advantage. If the dot dies you still have a complete three lamp sight picture in the dark rather than only a front sight, so you can shoot deliberately instead of approximately.
Notch Geometry
The front blade is one hundred and forty four thousandths wide inside a square rear notch of one hundred and fifty, leaving six thousandths of light either side. That is a precise picture that shows clearly when the front sight is centred and makes a sloppy index obvious.
It is the deliberate end of the scale rather than the fast and forgiving end. On a full size Glock with a decent sight radius the Trijicon Suppressor Sights Yellow Rear set will hold a tight group at twenty five yards, which is the point of a notch cut this narrow.
Check The Height Before You Order
These are suppressor and optic height blades. On a pistol with irons only and no can they sit noticeably higher than factory and may catch a tight holster mouth. Buy them if you run a suppressor or have a red dot in a milled slide, and buy standard height if neither applies.
The rear dovetail wants a proper sight pusher and the front is a hex nut torqued from inside the slide with thread locker.
