Description
The Trijicon RMRcc Concealed Carry Red Dot is Trijicon’s RMR reworked for slimline pistols. It is narrower, lower and lighter than a standard RMR, which is exactly what a single stack carry gun needs and exactly what a full size RMR was never designed to be. A 3.25 MOA dot in a 7075-T6 housing. Part CC06-C-3100001.

The Numbers That Matter Are Width And Height
The RMRcc measures ninety five hundredths of an inch wide and ninety seven hundredths tall, against one and a tenth by one inch for a standard RMR. On paper that sounds trivial. On a slimline pistol tucked inside a waistband it is the difference between an optic that disappears and one that prints.
Weight drops to a single ounce. More importantly the Trijicon RMRcc Concealed Carry Red Dot does not overhang the slide of a narrow pistol, which is what causes the snagging and the rubbing that make people give up on carrying an optic at all.
It Has Its Own Footprint
This is the single most important thing to know before ordering. The RMRcc does not use the RMR mounting pattern. It has its own smaller footprint, and an RMR plate, an RMR cut slide or an RMR mount will not accept it.
Plenty of slimline pistols are cut for the RMRcc pattern from the factory, and adapter plates exist for others. But if you already own RMR hardware, assume it will not fit the Trijicon RMRcc Concealed Carry Red Dot and check before you buy rather than after the box is open.
Adjustment Is Coarser Than An RMR
One tick of windage or elevation moves the point of impact three minutes of angle, where a standard RMR moves one. Total travel is a hundred and fifty minutes, so range is not the issue. Precision of adjustment is.
Three minutes is about three quarters of an inch at twenty five yards. For a carry pistol zeroed at ten or fifteen yards that is entirely adequate, and it is a reasonable trade for the smaller housing. If you want fine adjustment for precision work, the Trijicon RMRcc Concealed Carry Red Dot is the wrong optic and a full size RMR is the right one.

Automatic Plus Manual
Left alone the optic reads ambient light and sets brightness itself. Take control and there are eight settings, two of them night vision compatible. Battery life is rated at over four years of continuous use at setting four of eight.
For a carry pistol the automatic mode is the one that matters. The Trijicon RMRcc Concealed Carry Red Dot is a gun you draw without warning in whatever light you happen to be standing in, and a sight that has already set itself sensibly is worth more than one you configured last Tuesday.
Why Shooters Choose The Trijicon RMRcc Concealed Carry Red Dot
- Narrower and lower than a standard RMR, sized for slimline slides
- One ounce, so it barely changes how the pistol handles
- Automatic mode plus eight manual settings including two for night vision
- Over four years of battery life at a middle setting
- 7075-T6 forged aluminium rather than cast
- 3.25 MOA dot, the size most carry shooters settle on
Which Pistols It Suits
Slimline single stack and micro compact carry guns: the Glock 43X and 48, the Springfield Hellcat, the Sig P365 family, the Smith and Wesson Shield, and similar. These are pistols where a full size optic hangs over the edges of the slide and turns a slim gun into a wide one.
If your pistol is a double stack duty gun with a wide slide, buy a standard RMR instead. There is no benefit to the Trijicon RMRcc Concealed Carry Red Dot on a Glock 17 and you give up the finer adjustment for nothing.
Carrying An Optic Actually Works Now
For years the honest advice to someone carrying a slimline pistol was to skip the optic. The available sights were too wide, too tall, or too fragile, and the pistol stopped being comfortable to carry, which meant it stopped being carried.
A one ounce housing that does not overhang the slide changes that calculation. The Trijicon RMRcc Concealed Carry Red Dot is the reason a lot of shooters who tried a red dot on a carry gun and abandoned it are worth persuading to try again.
Mounting And Ordering
No mount is included and the footprint is RMRcc rather than RMR. Some slimline pistols are cut for it from the factory, others need an adapter plate, and an uncut slide needs milling. Tell us what pistol you are fitting the Trijicon RMRcc Concealed Carry Red Dot to and we will confirm what hardware you need before it ships.
