Tippmann Arms M4 Micro Elite Bug 22LR Overview
The M4 Micro Elite Bug Out is a Tippmann Arms AR pistol. It shares controls and many parts with the AR-15 rifle, in a compact package. Check your state law before buying, since some states restrict AR pistols.
Action and Controls
The M4 Micro Elite Bug Out runs on a Semi-Auto action system with a Single Stage trigger that breaks at about 4.50 lbs. It holds 25+1 rounds. The safety is two-position. Practice your trigger press and reloads until they feel natural.
Barrel and Sights
The 7 inch barrel is steel with a threaded profile and a 1:16″ RH twist. Sights are Flip Up Front & Rear. Check that your front sight is crisp in focus as you press the trigger, which is the key to accuracy with any handgun.
Frame, Slide and Finish
The frame is aluminum. The finish is Black Parkerized. Grips are Black Gen2.
Size and Carry
Overall length is 25.25″. It weighs about 4.55 lbs. That size works well for concealed carry with the right holster.
Ammo and Practice
Feed this AR pistol quality factory ammo from a known brand. Shoot a few hundred rounds of practice ammo and at least a box of your chosen defensive load to confirm it runs reliably before you trust it for protection.
The 22 LR
The 22 LR is cheap, quiet and has almost no recoil, which makes it the best round for practice, small game and new shooters.
Concealed Carry and Defense
This AR pistol is sized for concealed carry. Pair it with a quality holster and a sturdy belt, and practice your draw with an unloaded gun before you carry. For home defense, keep it in a quick access safe.
Holsters and Accessories
Plan on a quality holster made for this exact model, a magazine pouch, a lock or quick access safe, and eye and ear protection. A weapon light and a red dot are popular upgrades if the gun is set up for them.
Buying Tips
Pick up extra magazines, a quality holster and plenty of practice ammo. If you are new to handguns, a basic safety class is a smart first step.
Care and Value
Clean the bore and action after each range trip or hunt, keep moving parts lightly oiled and wipe the finish after handling. A well kept Tippmann Arms holds its value.
State Laws
Handgun laws vary by state, including magazine limits, approved roster lists and carry permits. Check your local law before you buy. Pennsylvania buyers can transfer at our Collegeville shop or at any FFL.
