This single-action revolver follows the pattern of the 1873 Single Action Army, the legendary Peacemaker of the Old West. It loads through a side gate one chamber at a time and is cocked by hand for each shot.
Design and Features
This Ranch Hand 5.5″ .357Mag has a round blued steel barrel, a casehardened steel frame, walnut grips, and a fixed blade front sight and rear sight notch in frame rear sight. Rifling twist is RH 1×18.75″. It weighs about 2.5 pounds and measures 11.10″ overall. It is built for Taylor’s & Company by Uberti in Italy. Taylor’s offers its tuning service for a smoother action. It also works with .38SP.
