Description
The Stevens 320 Turkey Thumbhole 20 Gauge is a pump-action shotgun with a 22-inch barrel, an od green synthetic stock, and a 5+1 tube magazine. It is set up for turkey hunting right out of the box.
Stevens 320 Turkey Thumbhole 20 Gauge Overview
The Stevens 320 Turkey Thumbhole is a pump-action shotgun built from the ground up for spring gobblers. It runs on the same rotary bolt and dual slide bars as every 320, so it cycles smoothly and locks up securely. For turkey hunting, Stevens adds a thumbhole stock with an ambidextrous cheek riser, adjustable fiber-optic turkey sights, and an extended extra-full choke tube, all on a short ventilated rib barrel that is easy to swing in tight cover.
Action and Barrel
The 22-inch chrome alloy steel barrel has a matte black finish and a ventilated rib, and it comes with an extended extra-full choke tube in the Win Choke pattern to deliver tight turkey patterns. Dual slide bars and a rotary bolt give the action smooth, reliable cycling, and the bottom-loading tube magazine holds five shells plus one in the chamber, which gives you a quick follow-up if a bird flushes or a second tom steps out.
Stock and Fit
The Stevens 320 Turkey Thumbhole 20 Gauge wears a od green synthetic stock and fore-end in a thumbhole configuration. Length of pull is 13.75 inches. A recoil pad at the butt softens felt recoil and keeps the stock from slipping on your shoulder. Overall length is about 43.4 inches and the gun weighs about 7.6 lbs, solid enough to soak up recoil while still carrying comfortably.
Sights and Chokes
Adjustable fiber-optic turkey sights give you a bright, precise aiming reference in low light, and the extended extra-full choke tightens the pattern for longer shots at a gobbler’s head and neck.
In the Field
In 20 gauge, it offers lighter recoil and a lighter gun to carry than a 12 gauge while still delivering plenty of pattern density for upland birds, doves, rabbits, and clays. It is a natural fit for spring and fall turkey seasons, and it can handle other close-range hunting with a change of choke.

Care and Cleaning
Cleaning is simple. After each outing, run a bore brush and patches through the barrel and wipe down the choke tube threads, wipe the metal with a light coat of gun oil, and check that the action is free of dirt and debris. Remove and clean the choke tubes regularly, and put a little choke tube lube on the threads so they do not seize. The synthetic stock needs nothing more than a wipe with a damp cloth.
