Field stripping is similar to a centerfire AR: push the takedown pins, separate the upper and lower, and pull the bolt assembly out the rear. Clean the chamber, bolt face and extractor after each range day, and wipe out the inside of the polymer upper where lead and wax build up. Do not use harsh solvents on the polymer parts. A bore snake keeps the 8 inch barrel clean between sessions without much effort.
