The M2.0 Metal Compact replaces the polymer frame of a standard M&P with 7075-T6 aluminum finished in Tungsten Gray Cerakote. The difference on the range is immediate: a rigid metal frame does not flex under recoil the way polymer does, and the extra mass keeps the muzzle from climbing.
The slide is stainless steel with a Tungsten Cerakote finish, so the pistol is a matched grey throughout. Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating that handles holster wear, solvent and sweat far better than a painted or anodised finish.
Grip texture on the M2.0 is aggressive without being abrasive against skin, and four interchangeable palmswell inserts let you match the grip circumference to your hand rather than adapting to whatever the factory chose.
