Smith Wesson FPC 10mm 15 Round black folding 10mm pistol caliber carbine

The Smith Wesson FPC 10mm 15 Round is the M&P FPC chambered in 10mm Auto with three 15-round magazines, a side-folding action that keeps a mounted optic in place, and a threaded 16.25 inch barrel.

Smith Wesson FPC 10mm 15 Round 10mm From a 16 Inch Barrel

10mm Auto is the most powerful cartridge that fits a conventional service autoloader. Put it through a 16.25 inch barrel and the numbers climb sharply, because much of the powder that would have burned in the air out of a pistol burns in the bore instead. The result hits far harder than most people expect from a pistol caliber gun.

That makes this a genuine field rifle. Inside a hundred yards a 10mm carbine is capable on deer and hogs, and it is reassuring backcountry insurance while remaining far easier to shoot well than a heavy magnum revolver.

The muzzle is threaded 9/16×24 with a thread protector fitted, so a brake or a suppressor is a straightforward addition.

Smith Wesson FPC 10mm 15 Round folding, storage and fit

The FPC folds horizontally to the side rather than under the receiver, which keeps a mounted optic clear of the mechanism and keeps it zeroed. Folded it measures about 16 and a half inches; unfolded it runs about 30 and five eighths.

Two spare magazines store inside the stock behind a quick-release tab system, and the carbine ships with three 15-round magazines in total. The charging slide doubles as a retainer that holds the gun closed when folded.

The stock is a fixed polymer unit with a 14.6 inch length of pull, the magazine catch is reversible for left-handed shooters, and four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts let you fit the grip to your hand. An M-LOK handguard with a Picatinny rail on top handles optics, lights and accessories.

Why Buyers Choose the Smith Wesson FPC 10mm 15 Round

A 10mm carbine occupies a useful gap: more capable than a 9mm PCC, far lighter and handier than a full-power rifle, and legal for deer in many straight-wall cartridge states.

The folding design means it lives in a pack, a truck or a boat rather than a rifle case, which is exactly where a backcountry gun earns its keep.

A threaded muzzle opens the door to a suppressor, and subsonic 10mm through a can is remarkably quiet for the energy it carries.

Three magazines in the box is generous, and two of them ride inside the stock so the carbine travels as a complete system.

Who should buy a Smith Wesson FPC 10mm 15 Round

The Smith Wesson FPC 10mm 15 Round suits hunters and hikers who want a compact hard-hitting carbine for backcountry use, 10mm pistol owners who want a rifle in the same cartridge, and shooters in straight-wall cartridge states. Ammunition costs more than 9mm and varies widely in power, so choose loads to match the job.

There are no iron sights on a Smith Wesson FPC 10mm 15 Round

The distributor record is explicit: sights, none. What you get instead is a full-length Picatinny rail on top and M-LOK slots on the handguard, and a folding system designed so that a mounted optic does not have to come off when the carbine folds. That is the whole point of the design, and it means the optic is not an accessory here — it is the sighting system. Budget for it before you budget for ammunition.

What comes in the Smith Wesson FPC 10mm 15 Round box

  • Three 15-round magazines, two of which store inside the stock
  • A carrying bag with extra storage
  • A reversible magazine catch for left-handed shooters
  • Interchangeable palmswell grip inserts
  • A threaded muzzle, 9/16×24

Folded, a Smith Wesson FPC 10mm 15 Round is 16.5 inches long. Deployed it is 30.62 inches. It weighs 5.7 pounds and the twist is 1:10.

Before you order a Smith Wesson FPC 10mm 15 Round

Distributor restrictions on this SKU: no direct shipment to Rhode Island or Washington, and no sale to Illinois under PICA or to Puerto Rico. A folding carbine also runs into state feature laws in places an ordinary rifle does not, so tell us the destination when you order and we will check before we take your money.

On the threaded muzzle: 9/16×24 is the standard 10mm thread and takes a muzzle device. A suppressor is a National Firearms Act item requiring ATF approval and MAG5 does not sell them.

Feed it with PMC Bronze 10mm 170gr or CCI Blazer Brass 10mm 180gr, which are what we hold in depth, and Federal 10mm 180gr FMJ as the other practice option. 10mm out of 16.25 inches is a genuinely different cartridge from 10mm out of a pistol — the extra barrel burns powder a handgun wastes, and the velocity gain is real rather than marketing. That is the argument for this format.

Other versions we carry: the 10-round FPC for capacity-restricted states and the OD Green FPC.

Chamber and pressure standards for 10mm Auto are published by the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute; the factory page is at Smith and Wesson.

Every firearm we list ships to your chosen FFL and is transferred there after a background check.
