Cerakote is a ceramic-based firearm coating that resists abrasion, solvents and corrosion far better than paint or anodising. On this pistol it puts a flat dark earth finish on the frame against a black slide, which is a considerably better looking combination than the all-black standard version.
The barrel is threaded from the factory and the pistol ships with the Smith and Wesson Sound Suppressor Adapter Kit, containing the adapter, installation tools and a thread protector. The adapter fits most suppressors using the common 1/2×28 thread.
Dimensions match the rest of the M&P 22 Compact line at 5.03 inches tall and 1.48 inches wide, holding ten rounds of 22 LR.
A Reduced-Scale M&P
