Two Features the Name Does Not Mention

The Sig Sauer P365-XL Rose is integrally compensated. The ports are machined into the slide and barrel rather than threaded onto the muzzle, so gas vents upward as the bullet leaves and pushes the muzzle back down against the rise your grip is already fighting. On a 20.7-ounce pistol that is a real reduction in felt muzzle climb, and for a shooter still building recoil tolerance it is the difference between a pistol that teaches good habits and one that teaches a flinch.

It also has a manual thumb safety fitted, which is deliberate rather than incidental. This package is aimed at new owners, and a mechanical block between the trigger and a loaded chamber gives a clear, teachable step in the manual of arms. The lever sits under the thumb where it naturally rides, so sweeping it down becomes part of building the grip.
