Description
The Sig Sauer P365 9mm 10 Round is the pistol that reset what a concealed carry gun is allowed to be. Before it, buying small meant giving up your grip, your sights and half your capacity. The P365 kept the footprint and gave all three back, and nearly every micro-compact released since has been an answer to it. This is the ten-round, optic-ready configuration in black Nitron.
What Makes the Sig Sauer P365 9mm 10 Round Different
The trick is the magazine. SIG staggered the rounds so ten fit into a grip barely wider than a single-stack, which is how the Sig Sauer P365 9mm 10 Round measures a genuine one inch across while holding what a much larger pistol holds. At roughly 18 ounces and 5.8 inches long it disappears under a shirt, and unlike most guns that small it still gives most hands a full firing grip.
The other half is the sights. XRAY3 day and night sights come fitted from the factory, tritium front and rear, rather than the tiny snag-free nubs small pistols usually wear. You get a sight picture you can actually use at speed.
Optic Ready From the Factory
This configuration ships with the slide already cut for a micro red dot, covered by a plate until you want one. Milling a slide afterwards costs money and downtime, and on a pistol with a 4.9-inch sight radius a dot is the single biggest accuracy upgrade available, because it removes the alignment problem rather than asking you to solve it faster.
Two ten-round steel magazines come in the case, one flush-fitting and one with a finger extension. The flush magazine is the concealment setup; the extension gives your little finger a home on the range. Higher-capacity magazines from the wider P365 family drop straight in where state law permits.

Carrying the Sig Sauer P365 9mm 10 Round
Weight is what decides whether a carry gun actually gets carried, and this is where the Sig Sauer P365 9mm 10 Round wins. Eighteen ounces loaded is light enough that it stops being a decision you make each morning. The grip module takes a standard SIG rail, so a compact light or laser mounts if you want one, and the holster market for this pistol is as deep as any on the planet.
Who the Sig Sauer P365 9mm 10 Round Is For
This is the default answer for someone buying a first concealed carry pistol, and it stays the right answer for people on their fifth. It is small enough that you will actually carry it and shootable enough that you will actually practise with it, which are the two things that matter and the two things most small guns fail. If you want more capacity in the same footprint, look at the P365X or XMACRO; if recoil is your limiting factor, look at the P365 in .380.
Other P365 configurations, including manual-safety and higher-capacity versions, are listed in our handgun catalog. Factory specifications are published by SIG SAUER.
