SIG Sauer M400 Tread 5.56 Stainless Rifle – Proven 5.56 NATO Rifle

Description

The SIG Sauer M400 Tread 5.56 Stainless is a rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16-inch barrel and a 10+1 capacity. It carries the build quality SIG Sauer is known for and is ready for the range, the field, or home defense.

SIG Sauer M400 Tread 5.56 Stainless Overview

The SIG M400 is SIG Sauer’s direct-impingement AR-15, built to mil-spec patterns so it works with the huge world of AR accessories. It features a forged upper and lower receiver, a free-floating M-LOK handguard, and the ergonomic upgrades SIG has refined over years of military and law enforcement contracts.

Carry and Use

The M400 is at home at the range, in a patrol car, or in the field. Its flat-top receiver accepts any optic, and the M-LOK handguard has space for lights, lasers, and grips.

Trigger and Controls

The M400 uses a standard AR-15 trigger group and familiar controls, including an ambidextrous safety selector on many models. The free-floating handguard keeps pressure off the barrel for consistent accuracy.

Sights and Optics

The flat-top receiver or rail accepts the optic of your choice, from a red dot to a magnified riflescope, so you can set it up for the way you shoot.

Caliber

The 5.56 NATO cartridge is light, flat shooting, and easy to control, and the rifle also handles .223 Remington ammunition. It is the standard round for AR-15 rifles, and ammunition is widely available.

Why SIG Sauer

Before You Buy

Federal law requires firearm purchases to go through a licensed dealer with a background check, and buyers must be 18 or older to purchase a rifle. Some states and localities restrict magazine capacity and certain features, so check your local laws before you order.
