Description
The Sig Sauer Cross 308 Bronze is a precision bolt gun that folds down to fit a pack, finished in bronze Cerakote rather than the usual black. MAG5 Firearms stocks it with a brushed stainless Taper-Lok barrel, an adjustable folding stock and an M-LOK handguard.
The Taper-Lok Barrel System
Taper-Lok uses a tapered interface between the barrel and the receiver rather than a conventional threaded shoulder. The taper self-centers under torque, which produces more consistent bore alignment than a shoulder that depends on the squareness of a single face.
On the Sig Sauer Cross 308 Bronze that means the barrel indexes the same way every time, and it is one of the reasons the Cross line shoots as well as it does for a rifle built around portability.
Folding Stock and Field Carry
The stock folds to the side and locks, cutting enough overall length that the rifle fits across a pack or into a case that does not look like a rifle case.
Deployed, it adjusts for length of pull and comb height, so the shooter builds the same position every time rather than fighting for a cheek weld.

Why 308 Winchester
Three-oh-eight remains the most widely supported centerfire rifle cartridge in the world. Match, hunting and practice ammunition is available everywhere in every bullet weight, and it burns efficiently enough to work well in shorter barrels.
For a rifle meant to be carried, that combination of availability and efficiency matters more than chasing the last hundred feet per second.
Sig Sauer Cross 308 Bronze Chassis and Mounting
A full-length Picatinny rail on the receiver removes the scope base as a separate component that can work loose under recoil, and gives room to set eye relief correctly with any tube length.
M-LOK slots on the handguard take bipods, tripod clamps, sling hardware and lights directly, mounted where they are needed rather than at a fixed stud.
Availability and Transfer
MAG5 Firearms is a licensed FFL dealer in Pennsylvania. This rifle ships new in the factory box with the magazine and SIG documentation, transferred through your local FFL.
Bronze Cerakote is harder than anodizing and hides field wear better than black, which is a practical advantage on a rifle that gets carried rather than cased.
Other Sig Sauer Cross 308 Bronze rifles and packable bolt actions are listed in our rifle catalog. Factory specifications are published by SIG SAUER.
Every Sig Sauer Cross 308 Bronze sold by MAG5 Firearms ships new in the factory packaging with the accessories SIG SAUER includes, and transfers to your chosen FFL. The Sig Sauer Cross 308 Bronze is a regulated firearm and we verify licensing before any order leaves the shop.
