Description
The Shadow Systems DR920P Holosun Package is a pistol chambered in 9mm with a 4.5-inch barrel and a 17+1 capacity. This configuration has a black barrel or finish.
Shadow Systems DR920P Holosun Package Overview
The DR920P is a full-size pistol with a factory-integrated, user-removable compensator machined into the barrel and front sight assembly. It delivers the flatter shooting of a comp without a threaded barrel, which helps with compliance in areas that restrict threaded muzzles, and it removes easily for cleaning with a simple pin-detach system.
Design and Features
Like the DR920, it shares G17 dimensions for broad holster and magazine compatibility, and it wears the Elite slide with directional serrations and the patented multi-footprint optic mounting system.
Handling and Carry
Shadow Systems pistols are known for shooting flatter and handling better than their size suggests. The texture is aggressive enough to lock in your grip without being uncomfortable for carry, and the controls are easy to reach and run under stress.
Trigger and Controls
The flat-faced trigger delivers a consistent, repeatable press with a clean break and short reset. The striker-fired action is compatible with many common aftermarket parts and accessories.
Sights and Optics
Steel sights come standard, and the slide accepts most popular red dots directly through Shadow Systems’ optic mounting system.
The 9mm Cartridge
The 9mm Luger is the most popular handgun cartridge in the world. It offers manageable recoil, good capacity, and a huge selection of affordable practice and defensive ammunition.
Setup and Accessories
A good holster is the most important accessory for any carry pistol. Choose one that covers the trigger guard completely and holds the gun securely, then add a sturdy gun belt, spare magazines, and a weapon light if the frame has a rail. Practice drawing and reloading with an unloaded gun until it feels natural.
Ownership Tips
Read the owner’s manual fully before your first range trip, and keep the manual, box, and receipt with your records for warranty service and resale. Unload the pistol and confirm it is empty before cleaning. Field-strip it according to the owner’s manual, scrub the bore with a brush and patches, and wipe carbon from the breech face and slide rails. Apply a light coat of quality gun oil to the contact points, and wipe the exterior with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.
Product Notes
This package includes a Holosun red dot sight, per the distributor listing. Confirm the exact optic model with us before ordering if it matters to you. Some configuration details are based on the distributor listing for this item.
