Description

Seekins Element Hunter 7mm Rem Mag chassis rifle with 22 inch carbon fiber wrapped barrel, Woodland Shadow camo receiver, M-LOK handguard and black aluminum chassis

The Seekins Element Hunter 7mm Rem Mag is the chassis-stocked member of the Havak Element family, built for hunters who shoot the way precision rifle competitors do. It runs a 22 inch carbon fiber wrapped threaded barrel, a Woodland Shadow camo receiver with an integrated 20 MOA rail and bubble level, an M-LOK handguard, and a black Seekins aluminum chassis.

Seekins Element Hunter 7mm Rem Mag Chassis and Handguard

The chassis is Seekins own aluminum design with a skeletonised buttstock, and it is what separates the Hunter from the standard Element. You get the rigidity and repeatability of a machined chassis rather than a bedded stock, along with adjustability that a hunting stock simply cannot offer.

The M-LOK handguard is the other half of that. A bipod, a tripod clamp, a hand stop, or a light mounts anywhere along the forend rather than at a single sling stud, and because the handguard free floats the barrel, none of that hardware changes where the rifle shoots.

Integrated Rail, Bubble Level, and Optics

The 20 MOA Picatinny rail is machined as part of the receiver rather than bolted on, which eliminates the most common cause of zero shift and gives you extra elevation travel inside the scope for long shooting. On a 7mm Rem Mag intended to reach out, that extra travel is not a luxury.

Seekins also builds a bubble level into the rail. Canting the rifle even a few degrees pushes your impact sideways at distance, and having the level in your sight picture rather than clamped onto a ring means you actually use it. It is the kind of detail most makers leave to the aftermarket.

Barrel, Brake, and Cartridge

The barrel is carbon fiber wrapped and threaded, cut to 22 inches. Carbon wrapping keeps the barrel stiff and helps it shed heat while removing weight from the front of the rifle, which matters on a chassis gun that would otherwise be nose-heavy. A Seekins Hunter Brake comes fitted, and it unthreads for a suppressor.

7mm Remington Magnum has been the benchmark American magnum since 1962. It shoots flat, it carries energy well past 500 yards, and factory ammunition is available everywhere in every bullet weight from 139 to 175 grains. In a rifle set up to shoot precisely, it remains one of the most capable elk and mule deer cartridges made.

Why Buyers Choose the Seekins Element Hunter 7mm Rem Mag

It is a hunting rifle designed by people who shoot matches. The integrated rail, the built-in level, the M-LOK forend, and the aluminum chassis are all features that make a rifle easier to shoot precisely from field positions, and Seekins fits them without turning the rifle into a twelve pound bench gun.

The carbon wrapped barrel is what makes that possible. A 22 inch steel barrel in 7mm Rem Mag on a chassis would be genuinely heavy to carry. Wrapped in carbon, it keeps the balance forward enough to hold steady without the weight becoming a problem on a long walk in.

Who Should Buy It

The Seekins Element Hunter 7mm Rem Mag suits hunters who shoot from bipods, tripods, and packs and want maximum stability in the field, and precision rifle shooters who want a hunting rig that handles like their match gun. 7mm Rem Mag makes it a serious elk and mule deer rifle at distance. If you still-hunt timber or want the lightest possible carry rifle, the standard Element M3 with a carbon stock will be simpler and lighter, and a 6.5 Creedmoor version will cost far less to practice with.
