Savage Axis 2 XP Creedmoor 20 Overview

The Axis II adds the user adjustable AccuTrigger to the proven Axis action, giving budget minded hunters a crisp, safe trigger and Savage accuracy at an entry level price. This version is the Axis 2 XP.

Action and AccuTrigger

The bolt action is right handed and feeds from a detachable box magazine holding 4 rounds. The AccuTrigger lets you adjust the pull weight yourself, from about 2.5 lbs (40 ounces) to 6 lbs (96 ounces), and its AccuRelease blade helps prevent accidental discharge.

Barrel

The 20″ carbon steel barrel has a heavy sporter threaded contour and a 1:8″ twist, and the muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 for a brake or suppressor where legal. Savage button rifles its barrels and headspaces them with a barrel nut, which is a big part of its reputation for accuracy.

Stock and Fit

The od green synthetic sporter has a length of pull from 12.75″ (32.39 cm) to 13.75″ (34.93 cm).

Optics

This package includes a 3-9×40 scope that comes mounted and bore sighted, so it is ready to hunt out of the box. Check zero at the range before the season.
