Description
The Savage 110 Trail Blazer XP 308 Win Left Hand is a bolt-action centerfire rifle with a 20-inch fluted heavy sporter carbon steel barrel, a Flat Dark Gray Trophy stock, a 4-round detachable box magazine, and a user-adjustable trigger, plus a mounted and bore-sighted Vortex Crossfire II 3-9×40 scope. It is built left-handed, with the bolt on the left side for southpaw shooters. It weighs about 8.27 lbs and is built for accurate, dependable hunting.
Savage 110 Trail Blazer XP 308 Win Left Hand Overview
The 110 Trail Blazer is a rugged, performance-first hunting rifle that pairs a Black Ink Cerakote barreled action with an adjustable Trophy stock. Savage built it for hunters who want precision-rifle accuracy in a package that carries well in the woods and mountains. The 308 Winchester is one of the most proven hunting cartridges ever made, with a huge range of factory loads that handle everything from whitetails to black bear and elk at sensible ranges.
Barrel and Action
The 20-inch carbon steel heavy sporter barrel has straight fluting to trim weight and help it shed heat, a 1:10″ twist matched to 308 Win bullets, and a threaded muzzle for a brake or suppressor where local law allows. The barreled action wears a Black Ink Cerakote finish for long-lasting corrosion resistance, and the jeweled bolt body cycles smoothly.
Stock and Fit
The Flat Dark Gray 110 Trophy stock has a length of pull that adjusts from 12.75 to 13.75 inches, so you can fit the rifle to your build or to bulky winter clothing. A LimbSaver recoil pad cuts felt recoil by up to 50 percent, which helps you stay on target and see your hits.
Mounted and Bore-Sighted Scope
This XP package comes with a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9×40 scope already mounted on the one-piece 0 MOA rail and bore-sighted at the factory, so you can confirm your zero at the range and head to the field with minimal setup. The 3x setting is great for close shots in timber, and 9x helps with precise shots across open fields.
User-Adjustable Trigger
Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets you set your own pull weight for a crisp, clean break with no creep. A light, predictable trigger makes a big difference when you are holding steady on a distant animal, and the center safety blade helps prevent accidental discharge.
Magazine and Handling
The 4-round detachable box magazine sits flush with the stock and makes loading and unloading quick and safe at the truck or the stand. Carry a spare in your pack for a fast reload when it counts.
In the Field
Spend time at the range shooting from field positions such as sitting, kneeling, and off shooting sticks, and you will be ready when the moment comes. Pair the rifle with a quality scope and premium 308 Win hunting ammunition, confirm your zero before each season, and you will have a dependable rifle that makes ethical, accurate shots.
Care and Cleaning
A little routine care keeps the Savage 110 Trail Blazer XP 308 Win Left Hand running smoothly and shooting accurately for years. After each outing, wipe down exposed metal, run a few patches through the bore, and keep the bolt lightly lubricated. Store the rifle in a dry place, check that the action screws stay snug, and recheck your zero before each season.
