The Savage 110 is one of the longest running bolt action designs in America, known for out of the box accuracy, a floating bolt head and the user adjustable AccuTrigger. This version is the 110 Long Range Hunter.
Action and AccuTrigger
The bolt action is right handed and feeds from a hinged floorplate holding 2 rounds. The AccuTrigger lets you adjust the pull weight yourself, from about 2.5 lbs (40 ounces) to 6 lbs (96 ounces), and its AccuRelease blade helps prevent accidental discharge.
Barrel
The 26″ carbon steel barrel has a hvy mag hvy sptr contour and a 1:10″ twist, and the muzzle is threaded 9/16×28 for a brake or suppressor where legal. Savage button rifles its barrels and headspaces them with a barrel nut, which is a big part of its reputation for accuracy.
