Description
The Ruger RXM 9mm Stealth Gray is a pistol chambered in 9mm with a 4-inch barrel and a 17+1 capacity. This version has a Black FNC Nitride barrel, a Stealth Gray Magpul Enhanced Handgun grip frame, and a Black FNC Nitride slide.
Ruger RXM 9mm Stealth Gray Overview
The Ruger RXM is a compact striker-fired 9mm developed with Magpul, built around a serialized fire control insert that moves between grip modules. It accepts many popular compact-pistol magazines and accessories.
Design and Features
This configuration has a 4-inch barrel and a 17-round capacity. It comes with a Black FNC Nitride barrel, a Stealth Gray Magpul Enhanced Handgun grip frame, and a Black FNC Nitride slide. It weighs about 23.4 oz. with an overall length of 7.15″.
Handling and Carry
The RXM is a versatile carry and home-defense pistol with a large aftermarket for magazines and holsters.
Trigger and Controls
The trigger is flat faced with a clean break, and the optic-ready slide accepts a micro red dot with the right plate.
Sights and Optics
The factory sights give a clear, quick sight picture, and the optic-ready slide lets you add a red dot whenever you are ready.
The 9mm Cartridge
The 9mm Luger is the most popular handgun cartridge in the world. It offers manageable recoil, good capacity, and a huge selection of affordable practice and defensive ammunition.
Setup and Accessories
A good holster is the most important accessory for any carry pistol. Choose one that covers the trigger guard completely and holds the gun securely, then add a sturdy gun belt, spare magazines, and a weapon light if the frame has a rail. Practice drawing and reloading with an unloaded gun until it feels natural.
Ownership Tips
Read the owner manual fully before your first range trip, and keep the manual, box, and receipt with your records for warranty service and resale. Unload the pistol and confirm it is empty before cleaning. Field-strip it according to the owner manual, scrub the bore with a brush and patches, and wipe carbon from the breech face and slide rails. Apply a light coat of quality gun oil to the contact points, and wipe the exterior with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.
State Laws
Magazine capacity limits, feature restrictions, and transfer rules vary by state and locality. Check your local laws before ordering, and ask your receiving dealer if you are unsure whether this configuration is legal where you live.
Ordering and Transfer
When you order a firearm from MAG5 Firearms, we ship it to the licensed dealer you choose. Your dealer completes the ATF Form 4473 and the background check, and may charge a transfer fee. Local buyers can complete the transfer at our shop. Bring a valid ID, and check your state waiting period before you plan a hunt or a range trip.
Safe Storage
Store the firearm unloaded in a locked safe or case, with ammunition kept separately. A cable lock or trigger lock is a good backup, especially in a home with children or visitors. Keep the original box and paperwork, and record the serial number in a safe place in case the gun is ever lost or stolen.
