Description
The Rost Martin RM1S Comp 9mm 10 Round CA Bundle is a pistol chambered in 9mm and a 10+1 capacity. Rost Martin lists this model as the RM1S Comp Bundle.
Rost Martin RM1S Comp 9mm 10 Round CA Bundle Overview
Rost Martin builds feature-rich, optics-ready, striker-fired 9mm pistols at a fair price. The RM1 family shares a crowned match-grade barrel, a flat-face trigger with a very short reset, ambidextrous controls, modular backstraps, a funneled magazine well, aggressive grip texture, and textured index points on the frame that help you control recoil. The RM1S is the slim, carry-focused model, sized for comfortable all-day concealment.
Design and Features
This configuration adds an integrated compensator that vents gas upward to reduce muzzle rise for faster follow-up shots, is finished in black and ships with magazines holding up to 10 rounds. It is configured for California compliance. This bundle includes extra accessories, so check the listing details for exactly what is in the box. The slide is cut for optics, and anti-glare serrations on top help keep the sight picture clear.
Handling and Carry
The grip texture locks the pistol in your hand without being abrasive, and the undercut trigger guard and extended beavertail let you get a high grip for better recoil control. It carries comfortably in a quality holster.
Trigger and Controls
The flat-face trigger has a clean break and an extra-short reset, which helps with fast, accurate follow-up shots. Ambidextrous controls suit both right- and left-handed shooters.
Sights and Optics
The factory sights give a clear, quick sight picture, and the optic-ready slide lets you add a red dot whenever you are ready.
The 9mm Cartridge
The 9mm Luger is the most popular handgun cartridge in the world. It offers manageable recoil, good capacity, and a huge selection of affordable practice and defensive ammunition.
Setup and Accessories
A good holster is the most important accessory for any carry pistol. Choose one that covers the trigger guard completely and holds the gun securely, then add a sturdy gun belt, spare magazines, and a weapon light if the frame has a rail. Practice drawing and reloading with an unloaded gun until it feels natural.
Ownership Tips
Read the owner manual fully before your first range trip, and keep the manual, box, and receipt with your records for warranty service and resale. Unload the pistol and confirm it is empty before cleaning. Field-strip it according to the owner manual, scrub the bore with a brush and patches, and wipe carbon from the breech face and slide rails. Apply a light coat of quality gun oil to the contact points, and wipe the exterior with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.
State Laws
Magazine capacity limits, feature restrictions, and transfer rules vary by state and locality. Check your local laws before ordering, and ask your receiving dealer if you are unsure whether this configuration is legal where you live.
