Retay Gordion Turkey 12 Ga Original Greenleaf Overview
The Retay Gordion Turkey is a inertia-driven semi-automatic shotgun from Retay, the Turkish maker known for innovative, well-built shotguns at a strong value. An inertia system uses the recoil of the gun itself to cycle the action, so there is no gas system to foul and the gun stays cleaner and runs a wide range of loads reliably.
Design and Features
This configuration features choke tubes (C-IC-M-IM-F-TRK), a truglo, fiber optic, front sight &low profile dovetail, a standard safety, a premium, aluminum,plastic-free trigger & guard trigger, the Pistol Grip stock, and a Mossy Oak Original Greenleaf finish. It is chambered for 2¾-3″ shells. Capacity is 4+1. It weighs about 6lb 8oz. Length of pull is 14.37″. Drilled and tapped: No. Retay backs it with a limited lifetime warranty.
Handling in the Field
It points naturally and swings smoothly, and the recoil management helps you stay on target for follow-up shots in the duck blind, the turkey woods, or the uplands.
Action and Trigger
The inertia action cycles quickly and reliably, and the push-button removable trigger group makes cleaning simple.
Sights and Optics
Mount the optic of your choice with quality rings or a mount, and zero it with the load you plan to use.
The 12 Gauge Cartridge
The 12 gauge is the most popular shotgun gauge in America, with the widest selection of loads for clays, upland birds, waterfowl, turkey, deer slugs, and home-defense buckshot.
Setup and Accessories
Set your shotgun up for its job: hunters will want a sling and a few choke tubes, clay shooters may add a recoil pad, and a home-defense setup benefits from a weapon light. Pattern every load and choke combination you plan to use.
Ownership Tips
Read the owner manual fully before your first range trip, and keep the manual, box, and receipt with your records for warranty service and resale. Unload the shotgun and confirm it is empty before cleaning. Field-strip it according to the owner manual, scrub the bore with a brush and patches, and wipe carbon from the action and choke threads. Apply a light coat of quality gun oil to the contact points, and wipe the exterior with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.

Magazine capacity limits, feature restrictions, and transfer rules vary by state and locality. Check your local laws before ordering, and ask your receiving dealer if you are unsure whether this configuration is legal where you live.
