The Radian Weapons Model 1 Pistol 223 Wylde is a hand assembled AR pistol built around a 10.5 inch match grade threaded barrel and Radian’s own ambidextrous controls. Every one is put together, inspected, test fired and cleaned by a single gunsmith before it ships.

Ambidextrous, Not Just Ambi-Capable

Radian made its name selling upgrade parts, and the Model 1 is essentially a rifle built entirely from them. The Raptor-SD suppressor optimised charging handle works from either side and vents gas away from your face, and the Talon modular safety selector gives you a choice of 45 or 90 degree throw on either side of the receiver.

That matters most to left handed shooters and to anyone who trains to shoot from both shoulders. Nothing here is an afterthought bolted onto a mil-spec lower; the controls were the starting point of the design.

The barrel is 10.5 inches, match grade, Cerakoted black and threaded at the muzzle. The .223 Wylde chamber safely fires 5.56 NATO while holding the tighter freebore of a match .223 chamber, so you get military ammunition compatibility without giving away accuracy.

The extended aluminum M-LOK handguard uses an integrated stainless steel anti-rotation pin in the upper, so the rail cannot shift under a mounted light or laser. Upper receiver, lower receiver and handguard are Cerakoted together, which is why the colour matches perfectly across all three rather than almost matching.

Trigger, Brace and Furniture

A match grade trigger comes fitted from the factory rather than as an upgrade, and it is a large part of what the price buys. Behind it sits a six position mil-spec receiver extension with a QD end plate and an SB Tactical SBA3 brace.

The grip is a Magpul K2, a steeper angle than a standard A2 that suits the upright stance most carbine shooters use. No sights or optic are included, which is normal at this level because buyers have already chosen their own.
