Proof Research Elevation MTR 300 PRC Barrel
Proof is the company that made carbon fiber wrapped barrels mainstream, and this is their patented process rather than a licensed one. A match grade steel liner is wrapped in carbon fiber in a Sendero contour, which delivers the stiffness and heat dissipation of a heavy barrel at a fraction of the weight. The muzzle is finished and threaded 5/8-24 with a thread protector included.
The MTR designation stands for Mountain Tactical Rifle, and the 20 inch length is the practical choice for it.
