The POF-USA Renegade Plus Pistol 5.56 is a billet-receiver AR pistol built with the features most shooters end up adding themselves: a nine-position adjustable gas block, a 3.5-pound flat-face drop-in trigger, fully ambidextrous controls and a nitride-treated bolt carrier with a roller cam pin. The barrel is 10.5 inches under a nine-inch M-LOK rail, and it weighs six pounds bare.
The Dictator Gas Block
Most AR gas systems are set once at the factory and over-gassed on purpose so they cycle with anything. POF fits its nine-position Dictator block, adjustable by hand without tools, so the rifle can be tuned to a specific load or dialed back when a suppressor is attached. On a short-barreled 5.56 that runs hot and violent by nature, being able to cut the gas back is the difference between a harsh gun and a soft-shooting one.

Both receivers are billet aluminum rather than forged castings, and the Gen 4 P-415 lower is fully ambidextrous: safety selector, bolt release and magazine release all work from either side. The trigger guard is integral and oversized with a relief cut at the grip so a gloved finger has room. An ambidextrous Tomahawk charging handle handles the other side of the equation.
Barrel and Bolt
The barrel is 4150 CrMoV steel with 5R rifling, a 1:8 twist and a black nitride heat treatment, threaded 1/2×28 and capped with a three-prong flash hider. That twist rate stabilizes everything from light varmint bullets to heavy 77-grain match loads. Inside, the Keylock bolt carrier group uses a roller cam pin that rotates instead of dragging, which cuts friction and wear at the point where standard carriers gall the most.

Why the Short Barrel Works Here
A 10.5-inch 5.56 gives up velocity compared to a 16-inch barrel, and there is no way around that. What it buys is a package short enough to maneuver inside a building or a vehicle, and short enough that adding a suppressor still leaves a manageable overall length.
