Description
The North American Arms Sentinel SNT-C is the convertible version of NAA’s newest pocket revolver. It blends the Pug’s compact size and rubber grip with a swing-out cylinder, and ships with both 22 WMR and 22 LR cylinders.

North American Arms Sentinel SNT-C Overview
Introduced in 2024, the Sentinel is NAA model NAA-SNT-C in this configuration (UPC 744253003721). Published specifications list a barrel of roughly 1.4 to 1.5 inches, about 4.9 inches overall, five rounds, stainless steel construction, textured rubber grips and XS Sights with a dot front and V-notch rear. Like other NAA minis, it is a single-action revolver.
A Faster Way to Load
Older NAA minis make you remove the cylinder to load. The Sentinel puts a frame-mounted cylinder on a crane that swings out to the right side, so reloading is simpler and you are less likely to drop parts. It is still single action: cock the hammer for each shot. Read NAA’s instructions for the cylinder release and for safe carry before loading it.

Sights and Grip
The dot front and V-notch rear are a real step up from the tiny blades on classic minis and make the gun faster to aim. The textured rubber grip fills the hand better than wood bird’s-head grips, which helps with control. Expect the usual short-barrel flash and noise with 22 Magnum.
Two Cylinders
The Sentinel SNT-C ships with two cylinders. The 22 WMR cylinder is for carry and serious use, and the 22 Long Rifle cylinder lets you practice for far less money with quieter, milder ammunition. Swap cylinders only with the gun unloaded, never mix cartridges between them, and remember that 22 LR from a barrel this short is a practice and plinking load. Both kinds of ammunition can be hard to find at times, so stock up when your preferred loads are available.

Living With a Pocket Revolver
Be realistic about what a tiny rimfire revolver does well. The Sentinel SNT-C is loud for its size, flash is heavy in low light, and sights are minimal, so practical accuracy is measured in a few yards for most shooters. Rimfire ignition is less certain than centerfire, which is one more reason to test your carry ammunition. Use a proper holster that covers the trigger area; loose in a pocket is not acceptable.
Sentinel or Pug
The Pug costs less and has years of track record. The Sentinel adds the swing-out loading system and, in this SNT-C version, a second cylinder for cheap practice. Because it is a newer design, holster choices are still catching up; confirm fit before you buy one.
State Laws and Ownership
Pennsylvania buyers complete a standard handgun transfer with a PICS check at the receiving dealer, and carrying concealed outside your home or vehicle generally requires a License to Carry Firearms. Some states keep approved-handgun rosters (California and Massachusetts are the best-known examples) and may not allow the NAA Sentinel SNT-C; New York, New Jersey and several cities add permit steps of their own. Check your state and local rules before ordering, because we cannot transfer a handgun into a jurisdiction that prohibits it.
