Subsonic ammunition and a direct-impingement gun also mean more gas and fouling at the face and in the action when suppressed; plan on extra cleaning.

The SBA3 Brace

The SBA3 brace adjusts for length and stabilizes the pistol against the forearm. The ATF’s 2023 brace rule was vacated by federal courts in 2024, but brace regulations have changed several times, so stay current. Adding a vertical foregrip, or replacing the brace with a stock, can turn this pistol into a short-barreled rifle that requires prior ATF approval.

Critical Safety Note on Magazines

300 Blackout uses standard AR-15 magazines, and a 300 BLK cartridge can chamber in a 5.56 rifle with catastrophic results. If you also own 5.56 guns, mark 300 BLK magazines and ammunition clearly and store them separately. Ammunition costs more than 5.56, and quality subsonic loads in particular can be hard to find.
