The pair worth care is this one and 180623. They share a reticle name and nearly a title, but one takes 1 inch rings and the other takes 30 mm. Read the tube diameter, not the reticle, before you order a mount.
Against the Duplex and Boone and Crockett versions nothing mechanical differs at all. Same 13.3 ounces, same 12.67 inches, same 70 MOA of travel, same fixed parallax. You are choosing a reticle and a colour.
The Wind-Plex reticle and the finish
Wind-Plex is a duplex with wind-hold marks on the horizontal bar. It gives you a repeatable place to hold for a crosswind without the clutter of a full tree, and it does not ask you to learn a grid.
This is a second focal plane riflescope, so those wind marks are calibrated at one magnification only. Find the power they are cut for and leave the ring there when you intend to use them.
Burnt Bronze appears only in the model name on the manufacturer page. No finish specification, no coating list and no light transmission figure is published for this scope, so we print none. The reticle is not illuminated and there is no battery in it.

Magnification runs 4.5x to 14x behind a 40 mm objective. Eye relief is 4.4 inches low and 3.6 high. Field of view is 19.9 feet at the bottom and 7.4 feet at the top, per 100 yards, or 3.8 and 1.4 degrees.
Elevation on the Leupold VX-3HD Burnt Bronze is a CDS-ZL locking dial with a set screw rezero; windage is finger click. Clicks are 1/4 MOA. Total travel is 70 MOA each way, or 20.4 MIL, at 15 MOA per revolution with a 14.5 MOA dial travel limit.
Parallax is fixed, set parallax-free at 150 yards. There is no side focus and no adjustable objective. No BDC dial ships in the box, though the turret is cut for a custom dial ordered to your load.

If the bronze finish is what draws you, be aware it is a cosmetic choice on an otherwise ordinary VX-3HD. It costs nothing in performance and it gains nothing either. Buy it because you want it to match a rifle.
