KRISS Vector SDP G3 9mm 55 Two-Tone Overview
The Vector is instantly recognizable, and its looks come from its Super V recoil mitigation system. Instead of a conventional blowback bolt, a small bolt carrier is linked to a low-mass slider that moves down channels in the frame at an angle to the barrel, redirecting recoil energy downward to counter muzzle rise. KRISS also places the barrel below the fire control group, in line with the shooting hand, for one of the lowest bore axes of any firearm. The result is a 9mm that stays remarkably flat during fast strings of fire.
The Gen 3 SDP has a full-length Picatinny top rail for optics, flip-up sights and accessory rails, and it uses Glock-pattern 9mm magazines, so higher-capacity magazines are easy to find where legal.
Low Recoil, Fast Follow-Ups
The combination of the Super V system and low bore axis keeps the sights on target, which makes the Vector a lot of fun on steel and a capable home defense pistol caliber platform.
