Description
The KRISS Vector CRB G3 10mm FDE is a rifle chambered in 10mm with a 16-inch barrel and a 10+1 capacity. This model is finished in FDE.
KRISS Vector CRB G3 10mm FDE Overview
The Vector CRB Gen 3 is the most versatile and competition-ready member of the Vector family. Its 16-inch rifle-length barrel makes it the most widely legal model, and the fully redesigned Gen 3 upper and lower housings improve ergonomics and customization. It accepts full-size Glock-pattern magazines, so many shooters can share mags with their pistol.
Design and Features
The Vector uses KRISS’ patented Super V recoil mitigation system, a delayed-blowback design whose bolt and low-mass slider travel down channels at an angle to the barrel. This redirects blowback energy downward to counter muzzle rise, and combined with one of the lowest bore axes of any firearm, it makes fast, accurate follow-up shots easier. The refreshed barrel shroud adds integrated M-LOK mounting points for lights, lasers, and grips.
Handling in the Field
The Vector carbine is compact for a 16-inch rifle, balances well, and is easy to shoot accurately thanks to its low recoil. It is a blast at the range and a capable home-defense carbine.
Action and Trigger
The trigger is crisp with a short reset, and the controls are laid out for quick, intuitive manipulation. Keep the action clean and lubricated per the owner’s manual for best reliability.
Sights and Optics
Mount a red dot, holographic sight, or low-power optic on the full-length top rail, and add back-up iron sights if your model does not include them.
The 10mm Cartridge
The 10mm Auto is a powerful cartridge with flat trajectories and deep penetration, popular for backcountry protection. Expect noticeably more recoil and higher ammunition cost than 9mm.
Setup and Accessories
Start with a quality optic and solid rings or a mount, then add a sling for carrying and a bipod or shooting bag for steady rests. Test a few loads for accuracy and settle on the one your rifle likes best. A hard case protects your investment on the way to the range or the field.
Ownership Tips
Read the owner’s manual fully before your first range trip, and keep the manual, box, and receipt with your records for warranty service and resale. Unload the rifle and confirm it is empty before cleaning. Field-strip it according to the owner’s manual, scrub the bore with a brush and patches, and wipe carbon from the bolt face and chamber. Apply a light coat of quality gun oil to the contact points, and wipe the exterior with a lightly oiled cloth before storage.
