KelTec PR57 Green RFX11 Red Dot – Unique Pistol

Description

The KelTec PR57 Green RFX11 Red Dot is the KelTec PR-5.7 pistol in 5.7x28mm with a green frame and a factory mounted Viridian RFX11 reflex sight. KelTec model PR57GRN holds 20+1 rounds in its internal, magazine free feed system, has a 4.6 inch barrel, an optics ready slide and 3 dot sights, and loads one round at a time or with the two included 10 round stripper clips.

KelTec PR57 Green RFX11 Red Dot Overview

7 is one of the most unusual pistols on the market. 7x28mm, so the frame stays thin and comfortable without giving up capacity. 7x28mm cartridge launches light bullets at high velocity with very little recoil, so follow up shots are fast and easy. This package adds the Viridian RFX11, a compact reflex sight designed for KelTec pistols, so the gun is ready for fast, both eyes open shooting right out of the box. 7 was the first firearm produced at KelTec’s Wyoming facility.

20 Rounds Without a Magazine

The internal feed system holds 20 rounds in the grip. Top load single rounds or speed load with the two included 10 round stripper clips. With no magazine sticking out, the pistol stays slim and light.

Viridian RFX11 Red Dot

The included Viridian RFX11 reflex sight mounts to the optics ready slide and puts a bright aiming dot on target for faster sight acquisition, especially in low light or under stress. The 3 dot iron sights remain as a backup.

The 5.7×28 Advantage

The 5.7x28mm is a small, fast cartridge with mild recoil and a flat trajectory at handgun distances. Many shooters find it easier to shoot accurately than 9mm, and the pistol holds more rounds in a smaller grip.

Lightweight Polymer Frame

The lightweight polymer frame makes the PR-5.7 easy to carry, and the green frame gives it a look that stands out from the crowd.

Practice and Training

Regular practice builds confidence and safe handling. Start at close range, focus on sight alignment and a smooth trigger press, and work back as your groups tighten. Dry fire with snap caps at home to improve your trigger control between range trips.

Choosing Ammunition

Try several brands and bullet weights to see what feeds reliably and groups best in your handgun. Use quality full metal jacket loads for practice and proven hollow points for defense, and confirm reliable function with your defensive load before carrying it.

Care and Maintenance

Clean the barrel, slide or cylinder and frame after shooting, apply a light coat of quality lubricant to moving parts, and store the handgun unloaded in a locked case or safe away from children.

Safe Storage

Store handguns unloaded in a locked safe, lockbox or with a cable lock, and keep ammunition separate when children are in the home. Quick access safes keep a defensive handgun secure but available. Teach everyone in the household basic firearm safety rules.

Recommended Accessories

A quality holster, spare magazines, eye and ear protection and a cleaning kit round out any handgun purchase. For defensive use, add a weapon light and practice drawing safely from your holster with an unloaded gun before carrying.
