Use HSM Match 22 Creedmoor 88gr ELD-M only in firearms chambered for 22 Creedmoor.
Let your barrel cool between strings so heat does not open your groups.
Record your data, including temperature and wind, to build a reliable dope chart.
Clean your rifle on a regular schedule that matches how it shoots best.
HSM Match 22 Creedmoor 88gr ELD-M ammo is a dependable choice for shooters who want repeatable accuracy at the range.
Building a data book
Writing down your elevation and wind holds for each distance turns range time into useful information. Over time you will learn exactly how this load behaves in your rifle.
Lot consistency
If a load shoots well in your rifle, buying several boxes from the same lot keeps your point of impact steady from session to session.
Caring for your barrel
A clean, properly broken-in barrel gives you the best chance at small groups. Follow your rifle maker’s cleaning advice.
Tracking your round count
Keeping a simple log of how many rounds you fire helps you plan cleaning, spring replacement and other routine maintenance. It also shows how much ammunition you actually use in a season, which makes it easier to buy the right amount next time.
Matching ammunition to your firearm
Check the caliber marking on your barrel before loading any ammunition, and read your firearm manual for any limits on bullet weight or load type. Using the right cartridge keeps your firearm running reliably and safely.
Reading the box
The box lists the caliber, bullet weight and bullet type. Always match the cartridge to the caliber stamped on your firearm’s barrel or slide, and never fire ammunition that is not specified for your firearm.
About HSM
HSM Match 22 Creedmoor 88gr ELD-M comes from HSM, and the specifications listed here follow the maker’s and our distributor’s published data for this item. Compare loads by bullet weight, bullet type and intended use to find the best fit for your firearm.
Buying the right amount
When you find a load that performs well, buy enough for practice and the full season at once. Ammunition from the same lot tends to perform the same, which keeps your results consistent.
Choosing the right load
Start with the job you need the ammunition to do, whether that is hunting, target shooting or practice. Then match the bullet type to that job: expanding bullets for hunting and defense, match bullets for accuracy work and full metal jacket for practice. Finally, test a few boxes in your own firearm, because every barrel has its preferences.
Safety first
Always treat every firearm as loaded, keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction and keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot. Wear eye and ear protection every time you shoot.
Understanding bullet weight
Heavier bullets in a given caliber usually leave the muzzle slower but carry momentum well and resist wind drift, while lighter bullets shoot faster and flatter at shorter ranges. Neither is better in every case; the right choice depends on the game, the distance and your firearm.
