Hornady 22 Hornet 35gr V-MAX – Proven .22 Hornet Varmint Ammo, 3070 fps, 25 Rounds

Description

The Hornady 22 Hornet 35gr V-MAX load is built for shooters who want more from their .22 Hornet than typical factory ammunition delivers. Hornady loads a 35 grain V-MAX polymer tip to a rated 3070 feet per second, producing about 733 foot-pounds of energy. Varmint Express ammunition is built around the V-MAX bullet, whose polymer tip and thin jacket produce rapid, explosive expansion on prairie dogs, groundhogs, coyotes and other varmints, with the accuracy needed for small targets at long range.

Why Choose the Hornady 22 Hornet 35gr V-MAX

• 35 grain V-MAX polymer tip bullet
• Rated 3070 fps and 733 ft-lbs
• Brass cases with reliable primers
• Explosive expansion on varmints
• 25 rounds per box, item 8302

Built for Varmints and Predators

• Flat trajectory for small, distant targets
• Rapid expansion on varmints and predators
• Quality brass cases and reliable primers
• Consistent accuracy shot after shot

Buying ammunition by the box from the same production lot keeps velocity and point of impact consistent from one range trip to the next. Keep a record of the load you carry, check your ammunition for dents or loose bullets from time to time, and rotate your carry rounds so the ones in your firearm stay fresh. These simple habits help you get the full performance Hornady builds into every cartridge.

Before you trust any new load, fire enough rounds through your firearm to confirm it feeds, fires and ejects reliably and that the point of impact matches your sights. Full-power loads produce more recoil and muzzle blast than typical range ammo, so practice with the Hornady 22 Hornet 35gr V-MAX until you are comfortable with it, and store the rest in a cool, dry place in the original box.

About the .22 Hornet

The .22 Hornet dates to the 1930s and remains a quiet, efficient varmint cartridge with very little recoil. It is ideal for small predators, groundhogs and pests at moderate ranges, especially near farms and buildings.
